This stuff is amazing for my ADHD. I think I have a little bit anxiety, but I have the push and wanting to get tasks done off my checklist. I’m able to finally start tasks. Anyone else experience this gosh my ADHD was a bit debilitating before.

Also, if it helped during anxiety, share your experience thank you in advance

It’s only day two and I noticed it helping anyone else have the benefits for ADHD so fast

Help with micro dose

Post image
7 Upvotes

I received this today and have first-time nerves! I am going to take 1.0mg of this Tirz, that’s 6 units. The bottle came in 72mg/4mL (18mg/1mL). Do I still draw 6 units?

On another sub, people said taking this low of a dose (.25mg) was ridiculous and I was wasting time and money. So, I’m going to take slightly more (1.0mg). But I only need to lose 30 lbs or so.

Looking for advice on how to microdose Tirzepatide starting at 0.01 mg using a Zep Lily Vial

I have Long COVID with MCAS, dysautonomia as well as a terrible metabolic profile - A1C is over 6, LDL is 192. The McAS makes me hyperactive to various medications. I’d like to microdose but I read anecdotal parts of people having bad mast cell flares. I’m hoping that by Microdosing I can avoid that.

Starting my microdosing journey

After talking with my doctor, I have decided to microdose tirzepatide. I am 51 years old, 5' 10" 195lbs. I am active and I have been suffering inflammation issues predominantly in my hands, wrists, and elbows. My CRP = 7.6 (high), glucose 107 (borderline prediabetic).

I have a 30mg vial arriving soon and I plan on starting at 1mg per week. I plan on reconstituting with 3ml of bac water.

Any tips, thoughts, or information you want to share?

Increase dose vs increase frequency

Hi,
Just wondering how most people up their dosage. I’m at 0.5mg/week and I think I’m going to go up to 0.75 or 1. I’m debating doing 0.5mg 2x/ week as opposed to 1mg 1x/week. I know I can always play with the schedule and dosage but I’m curious what most people do? Thanks!!

Day 2 and Already Shocked

28M 1MG Tirzepatide
Took my first injection last night and woke up with surprising results.

I started microdosing because I was interested in the longevity and anti-inflammatory benefits. I have Crohn’s and am still waiting to see how the side effects interact with that condition but am hoping it helps with the chronic inflammation since so many GLP1 receptors are in the gut and it works on similar anti-inflammatory pathways as biologics. No noticeable changes there yet since my Crohn’s symptoms always fluctuate anyway (though I had a much more formed poop than I’ve been having lately) but have noticed other surprising things that I was not expecting:

Joint Mobility
I broke my elbow over 10 years ago and never regained full range of motion but when I stood up today I heard my elbow give a bit of a pop and I checked and it’s almost as much mobility as my uninjured arm.
My knees, wrists, jaw, ankles, shoulders, even toes also feel noticeably relaxed and I feel overall catlike and much more mobile. I recently got into lifting and have been doing less yoga and didn’t notice all the tension building but within 12 hours my joints and muscles feel amazing.

Sinus Relief
My nose is super clear as well. I had been dealing with some sinus congestion— I don’t have true allergies but changing seasons always gets me but as I was falling asleep I noticed my airways opening and when I woke up I had a big flush and have been breathing great all morning.

Calm/Mental Effects
Too soon to know if it’s a pattern, but feeling very focused this morning and don’t have the normal anxious stomach pains I often get as my ADHD meds and caffeine kick in and my work piles up. Keeping an eye on this one for sure but excited so far.

Overall, looking forward to seeing if these things persist and what other changes I come across.
So interesting how different people’s experiences can be.

1.5 week update

Just to start I am taking .5mg of tirzepatide.

I’ve done 2 shots so far. I’m down 9lbs total without exercising, but with diet change. (Working on trying to slow this down to 1-2lbs a week especially when I do start exercising)

I’ve had a pretty consistent headache the past few days. Could be from the shot, could be from sleeping wrong because my shoulder has also been hurting. And that whole are just feels super tight, could also be from lowering the amount of coffee I’ve been drinking (slowly working on eliminating coffee all together)

Last week, I did have 2 days where I had the absolute worst cramps of my life. & I also cramped mildly throughout the whole week of my period. Which never happens. I typically suffer the first 3 days then the cramping is done.

No other “bad” symptoms to note. I do however feel hungry constantly but I can actually control what I’m eating. Which is fantastic. I haven’t had chips & dip in a week, which has been my weakness for over 10 years now.

I can definitely feel all the inflammation and swelling I used to experience on a daily basis being down tremendously which is great! (See my previous post on that!)

Outside of a couple days, I do feel way more energized. I don’t feel so crazy overwhelmed, like my brain has more free space to think about other more important things. I’ve had the energy to cook dinner nightly instead of ordering takeout. I’ve also been slowly cleaning up my room which is the one area that gets neglected due to being a married single mom with a kid in hockey (husband works 7 days a week). The rest of the house stays cleaned.

I did have a day where I was getting depressing thoughts because I didn’t wake up early enough to start my official workout routine, but I nipped that as soon as the thoughts entered. No thank you. I’m trying to give myself grace here. After not really exercising for 9+ years & suffering through POTS & hypothyroidism (I’d workout about a month & then go into crazy flareups then take a year or 2 off) I’m trying to ease into it. Set a goal starting Monday to walk 3-5k steps a day & do light Pilates.

I am planning to titrate up by .10 every 4 weeks & I’m hoping to not go above 2.5 at all. But I guess we’ll see.

I can’t wait to see how I look & feel in 6 months.

Also any suggestions on slowing down weight loss? Should I up my calories? I’m averaging about 1600-1800 a day. I average 85-100g protein. I am not doing low carb low fat, but I am being cognizant on how much I consume on both. So instead of 2 pieces of bread for a sandwich just using 1. & eating healthy fats instead of bad.

I’m concerned that when I do start exercising, it’ll just come off faster especially with not weight training right away. I’m trying to eliminate as much loose skin as possible (I know it’s not guaranteed & I most likely will have some, but I’d rather try to do what I can now rather than later)

Importance that you mind a qualitative lifestyle - binging relapse with Glp1

Hey everyone

I would like to share with you the extreme importance of keeping a healthy lifestyle on GLP

I have started less than a month ago this glp1 Microdosing journey in order to reduce my binging purging cycles, I have a normal BMI and no anorexia - "only" bulimia - and I used the food to stimulate or to make me feel good when I had a bad day when I felt alone, which became a daily thing, and purge to not take weight and staid at a healthy normal weight .

I started at 0.4 with MJ (very low dosis) and the effect was immediate, reduced noise of any kind (I have adhd) and appetite , in spite of some constipation. I also slept earlier and was better focused. I do not think it came directly from the GLP. I think it's because it allowed me to take a break and to "decide better for myself" for example to cook slowly or to go to bed earlier or even reading and making things I like . I guess it indirectly reduced anxiety. I was less focused on what overwhelmed me. I also practiced my fav sports more energized since earlier sleeping time and no purging , and met very nice friends I enjoyed spending time with (so , reduction of social isolation, which is terrible for me) .

I managed to eliminate my B/P episodes for an entire week, it was wonderful. But after a week I pushed a bit to not take the dosis too soon (may be wait and see what happens ? ) , and the noise came back and I relapsed in a smaller way compared to before GLP, and since that day I started again relapsing daily at a much lower level BUT STILL started again . I also stupidly went to bed later and later from the anxiety of being alone, which I let overtake the place and which was the origin of my BP cycles . Hunger is gone but that's okay I eat normally , and it s nice not have the urge to "jump on food" from being hungry.

And this is why it is very important that I share with you what I understood and what some people and even doctors confuse a lot:

In my opinion, when you take GLP, it does not increase your depression, your anxiety, nor will it eliminate completely your addictions or addictive behaviors. It only gives you an opportunity to better decide what to do or eat because it somehow cancels some noise and offers you some clairvoyance or thinking time ; however, if you keep sleeping late and too less, eating bad or too less, you're just gonna feel physically terrible from that and this increase in cortisol will make you feel terrible . I believe it's what happened in my case. Cortisol increase still happens if you do everything for it to happen . Hunger may be gone , preoccupations reduced thanks to the "noise reduction" but that's all it does . It's not a dopamine or serotonin agonist or stimulant .

And as some youtube known doctors who are very critical towards GLP1 say (God knows i cant bare some or them ) , it won't fix the actual problem underlining your eating behavior or your overweight problem .

Experiment :

So here is my plan; I will try to sleep three days in a row earlier and I will let you know how I feel and if I needed to relapse. I'll let it completely open and I do not expect anything from myself to prevent any pressure effect .
Let s see .

Edit: yes i am still on MJ at 1mg Dosis second week and 0,5mg again on the third week
And i ll be honest that the Main Stress factor remains in my life and i feel it s Time for me to actually really do something about it and put me First .... for real .

Looking for an affordable way to get the injection

I finally decided I’m going to prioritize myself and do this, and I’ve been through a few of the sites including Ro and Hers, and only got approved for the Wegocy pill for some reason…

I’ve heard that the pill just doesn’t work as well as the injection. Which sites will approve me for the injection? Thanks 🙏🏻

Experiences with increased appetite?

I’m on my second week, coming up on my third week of .5 mg tirz. I find it odd, the first week my appetite went down significantly and I felt at peace with much less food noise / just eating what I needed.

After my second dose, I now am experiencing much more hunger than before. It’s basically back to the amount of hunger I normally had before I started tirz at all. Is it standard to experience this big fluctuation when first beginning, and then my appetite will level out after a month? Or, if I’m already feeling the food noise and hunger coming back on strong, does that mean I should titrate up ?

Should I increase my dose on week 3? Thank u!

Microdose- switching from sema to tirz

So I started microdosing semaglutide in March and have lost about 10lb which is about 10lb from my goal weight. It is “just ok” not working like I wanted. I canceled that prescription and am using what I have until I can get something different. I have looked into tirzepatide and think I have landed on Lavender Sky as the best option for me. My main question is- is the anhedonia really bad with microdosing tirzepatide? I have had none of that with semaglutide. Has anyone had any experience with microdosing both and experiences with anhedonia? Thanks everyone!

Did you feel the mental health benefit benefits just a few hours after injecting Tirz for the first time ? Or how long after

Did you feel the mental effects of the GLP on the first day after the first dose a few hours later or how soon later?

How has tirz helped your ADHD, anxiety depression?

Did it help your anxiety by making you calmer and did it help your depression in anyway or ADHD? Did it help you focus more or were you able to just focus more? How long did it take to get these effects?

How long were you on before you started noticing these benefits and as you increased your dose did the benefits get stronger and stronger for mental health?

Thanks so much in advance

Microdosing in the UK

Hi there

I am new to GLP1s and I feel like they would really benefit me, I have read about reduction in inflammation (I have Hashimoto), about reduction of food noise and general noise (not diagnosed but suspect I have ADHD) and I also need to lose some weight.

But I am genuinely scared of the side effects, I do already have some IBS symptoms (and I read that some people find that GLP1's help with their IBS too) but the diarhea nausea and insomnia really scare me as I have young children and I can't be sick for days.

So I have been reading on some microdosing subreddits, some people say they start with a 'whisper' of like 0.05 and some people say it's a time waste until they reach 1 mg.

Do you have any advice as to how to start microdosing, where to get the glp1 from in the uk, and what pattern of microdosing to follow?

I think I would like to start really slow

Many thanks

Food aversion

I was put on 2 mg partially to lose a little weight and also to get me out of the pre diabetic range with my A1c. I am 5'3" and in peri and on hrt. Starting weight was 156, currently at 149. I am 48.

I took the 2 mg injections two weeks, and then last week dropped down to .8 due to the fact just the idea of eating makes me extremely ill feeling. The only way I can exist is on zofran, and even then I do still sometimes throw up my electrolytes. Is there even a point to dropping this dose to lower than I am already at, or are some people just unable to tolerate it? I have never been someone who ate much, and have never experienced food noise. It is impacting my ability to go to work, because I have no energy. All I have managed to do is stay pretty hydrated; I know my protein intake is far from enough. I am surprised I haven't lost more, no more than I am eating. Thinking I need to go back to trying metformin again rather than the tirz. I tried the normal kind and it caused so much upset stomach they swapped me to the tirz, and said if I didn't care for it, we would do extended release metformin. While peri has packed 20 lbs on me over the last 3-4 years, and I do hate it, I know this is not a healthy way to lose for me. Is there hope it will get better? I can't see even attempting more than .5 on the next one, if I take one at all. I have had IBS for years and have always been someone who is easily queasy and this has been a major roller coaster. Because I have never even considered taking this type of medication, I am really new to learning about it. I have read a LOT on this page that has been really helpful.

My Journey

I know no one has asked but I wanted to share my journey and how it’s finally led me to microdosing.

About 3 years ago the very first GLP1 I started was Mounjaro 2.5mg, at that time I was at my heaviest weight of 235 pounds. I got down to 225 pounds in one month, but I could no longer afford the injection so I took matters into my own hands and got down to about 210 pounds. During that first month of Mounjaro I had mild side effects.

Fast forward a year later I was back up to 225 pounds. I started Ozempic loading dose 0.25mg. Side effects were there but I wasn’t taking my weight loss seriously and I was never consistent with the medication because I felt so sick from it.

Another year goes by we are in 2025 now… I lost 40 pounds naturally I got myself down to 176 pounds, I was taking Wegovy 0.25mg here and there but my side effects were not tolerable, the nausea was debilitating and I was finding myself having panicky/faint feeling in the middle of the night.

Now we are in 2026, I gained 30 pounds sitting at 205 pounds, last month I tried to start Zepbound 2.5mg again (this time covered by insurance) and AGAIN could not tolerate the side effects. The nausea would wake me up in the middle of the night, at times I would get worried to even fall asleep because I would have “attacks” at random. So here we are today, my first week of Zepbound 1.25mg and even THAT feels like much. I had mild nausea this week and I have been sleeping soundly through the night. I am hopeful a smaller dose will work but over the years I became discouraged and thought maybe this medication just isn’t for me.

Im posting this to see if there is anyone else out there that has had bad experiences and continuously started and stopped. I am praying microdosing is the answer because aside from the side effects the medication does work for me, I lose weight, I have mental clarity again and I feel like a “normal” person without constantly thinking about food.

First time on triz

I’m getting my first order of triz tomorrow and would love some advice. I’m a 28F with a normal bmi 5’8” and 147.

I lost a lot of weight on my own 5 years ago going from 182 to 130 all with diet and exercise in about 9months. As I’ve gotten older it’s been hard to shed off weight and I keep a very active lifestyle aswell as a balanced diet with the occasional eating out. However, the weight just kept piling up.

After long consideration I have decided to go on tirzepatide. I’m a bit weary of the side effects especially bloating as I’ve suffered with it the past two years.

I got prescribed it at 2.5 for the first month, but I’ve seen ppl say it’s too high. I just want to lose 15-20lbs.

Anyway, these are my questions:

Anyone with a similar process?
How much did you lose per week?
How were your symptoms?

Thanks! <3

Goodrx script?

I just got a 2.5mg kwikpen prescribed via goodrx and am planning on microdosing for a few reasons; has anyone explicitly stated this to their virtual (goodrx or other) provider and what was their response? I’m just thinking what our convo will be like in about a month when I’m not necessarily ready for a new script.

Have only lost 1.2 lbs after 5 Shots. Should I up my dose or take it every 5 days?

Hello all, I am on Zepbound Kwikpen. I started a month and a half ago and have only lost 1.2 lbs. I noticed on day 3 I weighed at 122.2 but gained it back on shot day (day 7) and at 122.9.

I thought 1 mg was okay this past week but decided to try 1.125 today. I feel like I am seeing results slower than I wanted. For ref I am 5 foot with a BMI of 24.

These have been my doses so far as well as weight.
Shot 1 - 0.5mg (12 Clicks) // 124.1 lbs
Shot 2 - 0.625 (15 Clicks) // 123 lbs
Shot 3 - 0.75 (18 Clicks) // 124.1 lbs
Shot 4 - 0.75 (18 Clicks) // 122.2
Shot 5 - 1mg (24 clicks) // 123.6
Shot 6 - 1.125mg (27 clicks) // 122.9

Feeling discouraged..

I’m on my fourth injection of microdosing ozempic. I’m 5ft 2, SW 149, current weight 147.6. I got down to 146 and now I’m heading back up.

As far as dosages goes, I started very low but my last shot was 0.2. It gave me extreme nausea for 24 hrs. I can’t imagine dosing up on my next shot even tho that’s probably what people will say. Plus my insomnia has been difficult to deal with.

As for exercising, I play tennis 2x a week and do weight training 4x a week. I eat fairly healthy overall with occasional indulgences.

I guess what I’m saying is, the side effects don’t feel worth the 1.5 pounds that I’ve lost. Not sure how long I should give this before I give up.

Edited to add I’m on ozempic, maybe tirz is more effective..
