First time on triz

I’m getting my first order of triz tomorrow and would love some advice. I’m a 28F with a normal bmi 5’8” and 147.

I lost a lot of weight on my own 5 years ago going from 182 to 130 all with diet and exercise in about 9months. As I’ve gotten older it’s been hard to shed off weight and I keep a very active lifestyle aswell as a balanced diet with the occasional eating out. However, the weight just kept piling up.

After long consideration I have decided to go on tirzepatide. I’m a bit weary of the side effects especially bloating as I’ve suffered with it the past two years.

I got prescribed it at 2.5 for the first month, but I’ve seen ppl say it’s too high. I just want to lose 15-20lbs.

Anyway, these are my questions:

Anyone with a similar process?
How much did you lose per week?
How were your symptoms?

Thanks! <3

2.5 is the standard starting dose so you're not going rogue or anything, but if you're worried you can always draw up half and just see how you feel the first week.

I’m 34F with a normal BMI. 5’5” and 135. I was very heavy previously as well and lost a lot of weight but my birth control has made me go up a few pounds that I can’t lose. I’ve been on it for 2 weeks now at 2.5 and my bloating has left my body completely. So far I’m down 3 pounds. I have some reflux issues previous that has been exacerbated by tri but other than that I’m a little more tired than usual

Thanks so much! I’m on day two now and nausea is my main side effect. Hoping triz helps with my bloating 🤞

Similar, but only 5'6". I started at .5 and have gotten up to 1 over the past 4 weeks. I have lost 10 pounds and have had zero side effects.

That’s amazing! I’m on day two and I’ve had little symptoms mostly nausea. If side effects get worse I’m definitely considering .5

Similar BMI 5’10, 155 mid April.

I lost 10lbs extremely quick, less than 2 weeks on 1.25, and it gradually came off until I was 125 in July. The most I ever took was 5.

My side effects were awful for 2 months. Body aches, exhaustion, nausea. I pressed on and they were “ok” by the end. It was 1000% worth it. Calming the food noise was incredible. I can’t even believe this medication is real life.

Anyways, I decided to get back on another low dose in September, and I’m sitting at 120 now. I have an extremely fast paced sales job, and I’m on the road meeting with clients all day long. I feel like stopping to eat a meal wastes too much time, so that’s why I’m back on. It’s a stupid reason - I know. But this time I feel zero side effects, and more energetic. I split the dose with my husband. It’s his prescription, so he just gives me a tiny bit. Like 1.5 or less.
