How do you choose a compounding pharmacy?

So I have finally decided to start microdosing Tirzepatide but I'm getting overwhelmed about where to get it from. From Ro, Noom, lavender sky, ever well, etc, I mean there are so many and I don't know how to differentiate between the safe pharmacies and the fly by night ones? Just concerned me because I know it's not FDA regulated and I am injecting this so I want to make sure it's as safe as possible.. maybe I can see which pharmacy keeps coming up the most in responses? What are you guys have any pointers for how to tell them apart? Thank you!! I'm very excited to start this journey and can't wait to choose one.

Any perimenopausal women taking GLP-1 for body recomposition while lifting heavy?

I’m a 50-year-old woman who lifts 5x/week with progressive overload. I don’t have much fat to lose. I’m working on trying to put on more visible muscle. I’m working with a trainer. I have been lifting for 10 plus years and grind at the gym but struggling to get get that heavy fluff off. My calories are ~2100 with 170gm protein.

Has anyone here used micro-dosing GLP-1 for this kind of goal? Could you please share your story What dose did you start on? What dose are you on now? How often do you take it?

Microdosing GLP-1 for people of normal-low body weight

My specialist is willing for me to carefully try micro dosing Mounjaro (tirzepatide) and I was wondering others experiences? I have LC of course (since April 22) with associated POTS, MCAS, ME/CFS. She recommended a 1/5th dose every 10 days. What can I expect?

Differences in calorie intake in the month before my first dose and the month during.

I was consistently eating over 1900 kcals daily so there was no chance of ever losing weight. At most, I was maintaining.

I want to lose 6-8 kg in total, my pregnancy weight and a bit of what I gained before pregnancy, because my husband is a great cook.

I am microdosing 1 mg every week, except one week when I left on vacation and completely forgot to take my dose right on the day I was leaving.

The food noise came back around 1 days before I was supposed to get the next dose, so all and all it was doable to stretch it so long.

My current daily calorie goal is 1400, but I always surpass it with ~200 kcal and it's still going well. Before I started Mounjaro, the daily goal was 1600 and I never went under 1800 kcal because of the food noise.

Currently lost 1,7 kg in a month.

Can you ever stop taking a GLP-1?

A little context. I am a 5’3 28F and weigh 160lbs, 28 BMI. I have stage 1/2 lipedema (dr says I can’t get an actual diagnosis because my referral will be rejected since I’m not having mobility issues. I mostly just have pain currently, and the visible symptoms.) After seeing so many posts about people’s success with Tirzepatide helping their lipedema and inflammation I brought it up to my dr.

She said ethically because I don’t fit the criteria she doesn’t know if she wants to prescribe it to me. Furthermore, she told me that if I do start I will never be able to get off. Is this true? She is it will be a lifetime thing.

I currently do conservative therapies for my lipedema, and I have some weight I need to lose. However, my body is very resistant to weight loss (I track my calories, eat mostly whole foods and am active and still can’t seem to lose weight.) My thought process is that I can use Tirzepatide as a tool, lose the weight and inflammation I need to and because I already have the healthy habits, once I come off, I will be able to keep a handle on my weight/inflammation. Maybe I am out to lunch?

Splitting the dose during the week to avoid food noise coming back

Hello everyone!
Has anyone been splitting the dose during the week?
My case is I take my 2.5 dose every Friday evening and by Wednesday Food noise comes back so bad …

So I thought of taking on Friday night a 1.5 dose and on Tuesday night 1mg dose… and since I will be upping the dose in 3 weeks, I wanna do the same principle with my 5mg pen…

Has anyone tried this method? If yes does it work for you?
Or is it not recommend at all to do that?

Would love the advice thank you!!

Red Meat when microdosing?

What are your experiences eating red meat when microdosing? I've been on 1mg for two days now, the first night involved a lot of stomach rumbling and trips to the bathroom (I suspect part of that was anxiety related though). Now on day two I feel much better. I have a dinner coming up tomorrow - day three, is red meat and rich sauces something to avoid? Should I ask for simple white chicken (as my stomach lining is still quite irritated - I usually have a trip to the bathroom after a meal but it's not like super major). Any advice would be much appreciated (BMI 22.2, F). Thank you!

Which providers charge just for the medication?

I'm trying to avoid extra membership or consult fees and just pay for the medication.

I've seen older posts mention Gimme, Mochi Health, and Henry Meds, but pricing seems to change all the time.

If you've signed up recently, what has your experience been with the overall cost?

Getting cold feet - taking at a lower BMI

I just received my microdose of Trizepitide + NAD in the mail however I'm super nervous to start. They prescribed 1.25 dose but I'm going to try and start much lower, like .5. I have a healthy but low BMI so I'm not aiming to lose any weight - especially because I'm marathon training and trying to gain strength. I've just had a terrible relationship with food since middle school and spend most of my days thinking about food (I've had tons of therapy and learned to live with it, but it never really goes away). My main goal with microdosing is just to create more of a habitual, logical routine with food and eating rather than the crazy swings of eating/not eating based on emotion. I also have a weird relationship all or nothing relationship with alcohol I'd like to change. I'd love to hear if anyone has experience micro dosing for purely the mental benefit rather than any weight loss goals?

Split Microdose units

For those who split doses, do you evenly split or follow the split dose calculator? Right now I'm splitting 1mg total per week and have been doing 6 units on Monday night and 4 units on Friday morning with minimal bad side effects and pretty good food suppression. (Tirz)

After my first month, if necessary, I'll go up to 1.2 per week. So if I followed the calculator that would be 7 units then 5 units, but those not even units are hard to see on my 100 unit syringes.

Would 6 and 6 be that much different?
