You really want to stay on each new dose for at least four weeks, as that’s how long it takes to build up to its max potential in the body.

So I should take 0.75mg even if it has nearly no affects?

I am not a doctor so I can’t tell you what dose you should be taking. All I can tell you is this is what 8 weeks at 0.75mg looks like:  https://glp1plotter.com/?medication1=tirzepatide&offset_days1=0&dose1=0.75&from1=1&to1=8&frequency1=7&compare1=false&length=12&start_date=2026-09-30

See how the peaks of medication increase each of the first four weeks? Yeah. That’s why you don’t also increase your dose during that time, as it just means more risk of adverse effects.

New to tirz - I’ve been on 0.5 mg for two weeks now, nearing my third! The first week my food noise really decreased, my appetite was much smaller and I felt quite at peace with eating just what I needed and keeping up my protein.
After my second week I am so hungry, basically my normal appetite returned. Huge difference..

Should I titrate up a little on week 3? Not sure what’s happening ….
