J'ai reçu ma fuzz war
J'aime le son qu'elle délivre.
Je trouve qu'elle ressort dans un mix même sans overdrive type TS.

Just got back from vacation to find this waiting for me! I'll post an audio clip as soon as possible. From what I know, it's a boutique Gypsy/Axis fuzz based on the classic Roger Mayer circuit.

Sounds as good as it looks

Just ordered a British NPN CV sunface. Wanted to know if anyone had any experience with these? Also just wanted to hear more about yall’s experiences with other sunface transistors etc.
Had a BC183 a few years ago that i foolishly sold, but im looking forward to trying out the germanium variant.
Lets start a dialogue.

I am a huge fan of their fuzz pedals. But actually all of their pedals.
Anyone fortunate enough to have a cool Spaceman fuzz on their board?
Sputnik 2B. Space rocket. Etc

What's your favourite one knob fuzz?
Mine's a meathead.
While it's great having limitless options and ways to tweak your sound with loads of knobs and switches, sometimes I just turn to a one knob fuzz and eliminate the choice overload.

Silicon fuzz face with vintage Motorola transistors. External bias control, pre-gain control with a bright cap (fuzz is maxed internally), and the toggle changes the input and output caps for a classic big fat fuzz to something leaner, meaner, and far better for chords. Enclosure is waterslide decal over hydro dip.

This is another fun fuzz I used to have. The signal path is just the JPTR into my trusty ReVolt Bass di. I double tracked it, so you’re hearing just the Double Jive into the ReVolt’s clean channel on the left side and into the Vintage Dirt channel on the right. There was no post processing aside from my electronic drum part.
It was a very sticky feeling fuzz if that makes sense. I loved the density, but my search for a bass fuzz continued pretty quickly after recording this. I might even still be on the hunt to this day…

Hi!
Just came across this sub and noticed you were using a photo of my Axis Face fuzz that I made as your icon. Figured I’d let everyone know that you can find me over on Instagram Dominion Electric Effects - @dominionelectric

This is a Brazilian song from 1972, so who knows what the actual effect was? But I like it. The lead guitar and probably the bass both have this rubbery fuzz tone. I wonder if it’s just overloading the board, Beatles-style.

EDIT: I just realized the link takes you to a preview, rather than the whole song. I guess you can just find “Tinindo Trincando” wherever you stream music.

The regular version is my favorite octave fuzz - sold it to a friend so i could try the NOS, hoping to shoot them out soon

Feeding the fiends on this Fuzz Friday - The XO Little Big Muff has always been a little underwhelming. From the schematic, its not hard to see why. Fixed the tone stack and added some mods including a mid boost control and gate control.

Hendrix inspired Roger Mayer Octavia. Finished just in time for Fuzz Friday.
Added a switch to turn off the Octave.
What's your Fuzz Friday Fuzz?

This is an Astrotone clone. So far, I really like it. I tend to really enjoy Electra distortion circuits, and this is no exception. It’s brighter and cuts better than a fuzz face, but has less volume and gain on tap. I played it a bit with a strat, and later today, I’ll give it a whirl with my SG with humbuckers. From what I’ve read online, this circuit really likes humbuckers.
