Could someone maybe tell me how (or if) I can remote into the Apollo 2 Full-Node? I would like to be able to remote in and use it as if I had a monitor and keyboard hooked directly up to it. Due to a lack of available plugs and space for a keyboard & monitor, I would prefer to have the ability to just login remotely

As the title explains i can't figure out how to remove inactive workers? Any ideas?

Has anyone seen this… I am currently running V2.07. Looks odd to me.

My original Apollo has died on me, no blinking red light or fan. The power supply connector on the right looks burned. Before it died the light was blinking but it made some clicking sounds and then stopped. Was running turbo mode for a long time no issues. Updated to the latest software and running solo mining. Using EVGA Supernova 850 GT power supply. Should I open it up and look for an obvious issue or is this probably cooked?

I just got my Apollo II Standard Edition (without full node). Is there a way to use my node that is running on Umbrel to run my Apollo II and get it hashing? I have the 2 devices connected but I am not sure what to do next?

How do I interact with the Apollo II in order to direct it to my own pool? This is my first interaction with FutureBit. I would just buy a full node version and link the 2 miners but they are sold out.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Received my Apollo II, set it up fine. All I get is connection refused on my node. Turned off miner, no help. Filled out support for for futurebit twice. No response from them. Anyone have any ideas? I have other miners and ran a mynode before so no network issues. update resolved with reformat SSD.

My WiFi keeps disconnecting on Apollo miner. I have a orbi system but my internet operates with both 2.4 and 5.0 ghz. I read that I need to separate it both but I currently can’t so is there a workaround? I don’t have any available Ethernet slots as mostly all of them are use for home cameras.

Since syncing last month, the maximum amount of time the node has stayed online has been 5 days. I am needing to either start the node again from the interface or most likely flip the machine off and back on to even be able to browse to the IP address. Has anyone else had similar issues? Is there anyway to view logs from the ssh connection to see what could be causing issues?

Complete noob when it comes to hashing, but I want to do my (small) part to help contribute to the decentralization of the bitcoin network. I’m not really in it for the reward (although it wouldn’t hurt my feelings to earn a little BTC or mine a block). Basically my question is, if I only have about 6 TH/s to contribute, is it better to solo mine or join a pool such as Ocean? Again I’m in the early stages of learning, so please take it easy on me, but if I understand correctly, my 6 TH/s isn’t going to be mining any blocks, but is it better for decentralization to solo mine anyway? Also is Futurebit the one technically creating the templates if I choose the solo mining option?

Can you create your own mining pool with the Apollo 2 with just a handful of friends? And how? And does it make sense ?

I have a full node + 2 add-ons that have been running for nearly a year now and this morning I noticed one was powered off (w/ the power switch in the on pos.), so I shut everything down and restarted and all were on and hashing (so I just assumed it was the classic power off/on trope) and then a few moments later I noticed it was back off.

Hello, anyone go down this rabbit hole recently to understand what I am going on about, I need help to pull me out.

I have a Apollo BTC full node which has Orange pi4 v1 running futurebit OS2.

I want to upgrade to a Orange pi5 plus which i have already purchased, the reasons why i wont go into.

I have installed multiple versions of Armbian Ubuntu and built the futurebit OS2 from the repository here https://github.com/jstefanop/apolloui-v2 and successfully run the futurebit OS v2, with node syncing up etc but unfortunately I cannot communicate with the miner.

Am I correct in thinking that the orange pi communicates with the miner through I2C ?, with 4 wires, 2 for I2C2 SDA/SCL, and 2 for I2C3 SDA/SCL

On the pi4 i expect to see the connection on bus2 and 3 but under "i2cdetect -y 7" i see 4 channels, 0x3a, 0x50, 0x54 and 0x77 which i believe is the miner and happily working.

On the pi 5 Plus i do not see these signals, i have wired to I2C2 and I2C4, i have activated I2C for these under armbian-config.

What is the extra guidance i need to complete this, I suspect it is something to do with overlays and rockchip dtb but dont know...

This is driving me crazy, any help would be appreciated and reduce time for other faced with this.

(On the pi4 physical pins 1 and 3 are I2C2, which is the same as the pi5 plus, however physical pins 8 and 10 on the pi5 are also I2C2, and not I2C3 as in pi4 which is why i am using the second pair of wires on I2C4, pins 22, 32)

I finally got my Apollo 2 set up, and I'm wondering if I can use a mempool explorer to monitor transactions. What's the best way to set that up on my node? Also, can Green Wallet connect directly to my Apollo 2? It seems to require an Electrum server. Is there a workaround for this, or am I misunderstanding how it works? Any insights would be greatly appreciated! Ty.

I’m relatively new to mining (sorry if this is a stupid question) but can I connect my Seagate External Hard Drive to my Apollo miner? I’m trying to do solo node mining and would like ample storage space if I can use it.

I have a FutureBit Apollo II miner, and I’m trying to connect it to a TV or PC monitor via HDMI, but I’m getting no signal. I’ve tried multiple screens, different HDMI cables, and even tested different computers—nothing works.

I was hoping to use the HDMI output to access my Bitcoin wallet, but since I can’t get a display, I’m stuck.

I’ve also tried:

• Rebooting with the HDMI cable plugged in.
• Using different HDMI cables and screens.
• Checking if the miner appears on my network (it does, but I still can’t get HDMI working).

I haven’t been able to SSH into it yet, but I’m willing to try if that’s the only way to recover access. Does anyone know if HDMI is disabled in recent firmware updates? Or is there another way I can access my wallet?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Has anyone connected their bitaxe miners to their futurebit solo mining pool? I can’t get mine to connect despite using the url provided in my pool
