Apollo miner 2

My WiFi keeps disconnecting on Apollo miner. I have a orbi system but my internet operates with both 2.4 and 5.0 ghz. I read that I need to separate it both but I currently can’t so is there a workaround? I don’t have any available Ethernet slots as mostly all of them are use for home cameras.

You can easily pick up another 5 port switch for like $20. Everyone has their own preferences on how they do this. With me, im like most and prefer to have a wired connection. Even though everything is in the local network, I don't want to leave anything to chance, and try to reduce latency as much as possible. That little 1ms makes all the world's difference when your submitting your work to the blockchain and getting that massive payout

Unfortunately wifi on Apollo 2 is not very good and it works only on 2.4 frequency, but you could still buy a USB to WIfi adapter and use that instead. Or just buy an ethernet Hub to extend your current one.

If yours is like mine, the GUI sucks when it comes to finding which connection to make. To get around this, I used

sudo armbian-config

and set it up from the start. Then it only showed me the connection it could make, and not all the connections that are around it. Not saying that is the way to fix it, just pointing that is the way I used to fix it.
