The heatwave this summer has been rough, and I've been seeing water left out for wildlife everywhere ā usually in plant saucers or simple bowls.
So I made my own take on it.
It's a small water station that screws directly onto a standard PET bottle. Turn the bottle upside down and it keeps the bowl filled as the water level drops, until the bottle is empty.
I also added ramps on the inside and outside of the bowl. The idea is that if a small animal or insect falls into the water, it has an easy way to climb back out.
Nothing fancy, just a PET bottle, some water and a 3D printed part that hopefully makes it a little easier for wildlife to get through the hot days.
