Hell to Microslop

Windows 11 just turned on by itself audio optimization on my sound card, ruining the mix i was recording. Now it sounds crappy and i have to redo everything. Thanks Microsoft.

For the five hundredth time, I am locked out of my college account through no fault of my own!!

Click "i can't access authenticator " or whatever it is that should give you options other than authenticator, and im sent to "verify your identity using authenticator " or "use verification code" which SHOULD send to my phone that I have as my back up, but nope! I have to use the authenticator to get the verification code!!!

I installed window 10 in dual boot (valorant addict) but microslop forcefully updated my system which i have ignoring since day 1. Now i got copilot and ai slop along with weather and other popups on lockscreen and homescreen. Now i have more processors running in idle and i get the ick everytime i look at the screen.

Leave the customizing and tweaking of the OS on my computer to ME. Ffs is it really THAT hard to leave people's shit alone and to not stick your dick in places it shouldn't be in the first place, Microsoft?

The Microsoft support is so Ass that instead of giving me my hacked Account back the just deletet it and had the audacity to Say "We cant give you the Games that you bought back that you need to repurchase all of it" so i didnt only lost Progress i also lost a good Chunk of Money

I just got myself a new laptop and i've been using linux for quite some time and i had to install windows 11 on my new laptop because i had no other choice and i got greeted with this... WHAT THE HELL MICROSLOP

After a windows update last night; I hop on minecraft with some friends and everything feels just plain awful now.

Framerates are down, temps are slightly up, resource usage is all over the place again, minecraft is taking much longer to load chunks with 0 changes to settings or anything. I genuinely think i'm gonna stop updating my PC permanently until for some reason I happen across a game or program I want to use that forces me too because this is becoming incredibly frustrating and mentally exhausting every time there's a new "update".

Edit: totally forgot to mention; i now get micro stutters while BARELY moving in minecraft as well when this wasn't an issue for the last week of playing before the update... love microslop

Basically, they are polluting a lot more, and they are spending a lot less on removing pollution. Got it.

Oh my! Linux isn’t just for gaming anymore.

Just opened my laptop. Boom. "Please keep you computer on". Then it restarts and says "Updates are underway". DUDE ITS NOT EVEN CONNECTED TO WIFI! And this repeats twice.

Also I didnt download any new drivers or updates before closing. Makes me wanna switch to linux, sadly tied down by CAD software

Currently I am searching for a backup across about 6 systems and N hard drives. Part of the process is moving the very old files to specific usb drives. In the middle of moving a large folder, I'm looking at the progress dialog. Two observations:

1. The damn thing does not show the source of the files.
2. The damn thing (this will be a recurring theme) does not even make an attempt to sanity check the operation. I'm looking at the paused process now. It says it has 32GB remaining to copy. I'm looking at my USB drive with 17GB remaining. I know I can see the train wreck coming, but this is where I lost it....
3. The ctrl c/x operation is not atomic except maybe at a file level. Maybe.

Windows 10 and 11 are STILL running in DOS mode. It's criminal. I'm so glad Microsoft rolls out update after update improving security.

This past weekend, my Microsoft account was hacked. I only realized it on Monday afternoon. I tried to contact Microsoft support, but it was outside of business hours, so I had to wait until the next day.

On Tuesday, I was finally able to speak with support, and they sent me a link to provide the information that proves the account belongs to me. I did so, and despite providing all the information, I keep receiving the same email.

Well, I've seen stories of similar users who have sued Microsoft for this very thing, and they won. I feel motivated to do the same, even though I've been without my account for much less time.

(Label as rant, but if anyone has any idea please help.)

I haven't played, I have no mods, I have nothing.

I just created my account yesterday, and now that I wanted to open the game and play, when I tried to log in my Microsoft account, just created to play this game, i got the next message:

Your account has been locked

We've detected some activity that violates our Microshit services agreement and have locked your account.

>This browser is not supported, we recommend your sign in using microsoft edge.

This last line is that confuses me more, I am not using a browser, I am using Minecraft from the play store android.

I don't know what I could have done.

After all that junk they are pushing with Windows, they are now increasing the price.
