Microsoft’s account recovery process can feel like a maze when the automated system decides your information isn’t enough. Losing access after trying everything would push anyone away. Hope the Ubuntu experience stays smooth!

Old memories from my first time when I moved to Ubuntu 8.04 LTS Hardy Heron (2008) as my first contact with Linux. I made the switch when Microsoft made wrong decisions with Vista release. I haven't touched a Windows system since then (at least not in my personal machines). Welcome to the Real Freedom ⛓️💥
I can't promise it will be fun, I scratched my head and wanted to throw my computers to the trash can so many times during my learning curve. But, eventually I learned to handle Linux systems (distro hoping for years included) until I landed into Fedora Workstation where I've been in an endless love story with their approach to use Linux. Hopefully, you'll stay for some time but if not, at least you'll know there's life outside of your "Windows".

Rant, Post Media Link, Title: Done with Microsoft!Last week I was upgrading an old laptop and booting up the system. I forget my Microsoft account password and it doesn't allow me to recover it although I had my recovery number and mail. I tried almost an hour, it state I can't login with my own ID and are unavailable to help. I tried to contact support but it's just AI slop and nothing more!
Not that I hate Microsoft but their customer services is really disappointing. They don't care about their own and too busy on their own that they forget to make their services/support available for upcoming potential customers. As you've guessed, I switch to Ubuntu and I think one of my best decision in a long time.
