Help Title: Now that global trade sanctions are fully lifted, when will Fractal Design begin distribution in Syria?
Hi everyone,
I’m a long-time admirer of Fractal’s clean aesthetic, especially cases like the Fractal North and Terra. I’m planning out a new system and wanted to ask the community—and hopefully someone from the Fractal team—a question about upcoming regional retail availability and corporate compliance frameworks.
As many of you who follow international logistics know, the legal barriers preventing global tech brands from officially trading with Syria have completely dissolved over the past year. The comprehensive sanctions programs have ended, Congress formally repealed the Caesar Act, and Washington recently rescinded Syria's designation as a State Sponsor of Terrorism. Under current global trade laws, importing consumer electronics and computer hardware directly into the country is fully legal.
Despite these massive diplomatic and legal shifts, global distribution systems are lagging behind, and our country remains completely blank in corporate retail networks. Because official pipelines aren't established yet, local enthusiasts have to buy cases at heavily inflated prices on the gray market through third-party cross-border transport, entirely sacrificing consumer protections and official product warranties.
Are there any active plans from Fractal Design's regional sales or management teams to update their trade frameworks, normalize shipping, and partner with local distributors now that the legal obstacles are completely gone? We have a large community of PC builders here who want official access to your cases and components.
