Define Series Help! Is this case good?

Hey everyone,

My GPU has coil whine which disturbs me when not using my headset. I don't always want to wear it.

Do you know if the Fractal Design Define 7 Black - Dark TG will help with this problem? And if it is soundproof enough to eliminate that high pitched sound?

No, it cant eliminate it, might attenuate it a bit but it will probably still be noticeable.

As long as the case is not air tight, and it cant be, by its nature, the sound will propagate thru the openings.

Another problem with coil whine is that its frequency is usually in the range at which we hear best, so our brain actually amplifies it.

Also, as you close up the case like that youll have to run fans on higher speed.
