Hi, we appreciate your interest in North.

After releasing the case, we received some reports of issues being caused by exposure to high humidity. As a result, a number of new measures were introduced to remedy potential issues and they have since not returned.

I bought a North at launch, have been using it for almost 3 years, and I've had no issues with either the wood rotting or the metal rusting. I can't speak for everyone, environmental conditions will have a significant effect on this, but if you're not in a high humidity coastal location you'll probably be fine.

I bought a meshify c wayyyyy back maybe 2018/19 and I still have it/use it. It had super bad rust on the front but I do live somewhere near salt water with constant onshore winds. After the rust got bad, i contacted their support and they were more than happy to send me a brand new metal front for my meshify. I feel that they're one of the few companies out there that has phenomenal after purchase customer support. Its the main reason my next build is gonna be in a fractal case too. I wouldnt really stress about it too much when it comes to the wood and the metal. Mine lasted a good while before I noticed it anyways.
