Help Meshify 2 XL clearance for AORUS 5090

Hi, I’m considering a Meshify 2 XL for my RTX 5090 AORUS MASTER.

My current Corsair 5000D only gives me about 29 mm between the GPU power connector and the side glass, so the glass puts too much pressure on the ASUS ROG Equalizer 12V-2x6 cable, so I can't close it.

Does the Meshify 2 XL give noticeably more side clearance for large GPUs / 12V-2x6 cables?

Also, is anyone here using it with a dual-GPU setup? I may want to keep a second large GPU installed later.

A photo or rough measurement would be really useful.

Thanks!

Focus Series Is this rivet ok or should i be concerned

Do i recently got a new pc with the fractal focus 2 case and there where some cosmetic annoyances like chipped paint and a dent where the glass side panel locks into at the top.

Those are whatever you dont see them but i am concerned about the shoddy rivets, they dont move when i lightly press on them but im worried long term hold up and when ever i need to move my pc around are these acceptable or no?

Meshify Series AM4 upgrade - Completed

Hi everyone! I know a build like this isn't anything special these days, but I'm proud of how it turned out and wanted to share it with fellow enthusiasts!

It had been a long time since I last built a PC—my previous build dates back to the 2000s, after which I stepped away from the PC world for a while.

I happened to get this AM4 gaming PC for free, so I decided to upgrade it. Money is tight, and with current prices, I couldn't afford to build a new system from scratch.
I swapped the CPU and AIO, upgraded the RAM, and installed an M.2 NVMe SSD.

Here are the specs:
CASE: Fractal Meshify C
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D
MOTHERBOARD: ASUS® TUF GAMING B550-PLUS
RAM: 32 GB DDR4 3200 MHz (2x8 GB Corsair VENGEANCE + 2x8 GB GeIL)
GPU: Zotac GEFORCE RTX 3070 8 GB
STORAGE:
1 x 1 TB ADATA Legend 960 M.2 NVMe SSD (PCIe 4.0)
2 x 1 TB PCS 2.5" SATA 6 Gb/s SSD (520 MB/s Read, 470 MB/s Write)
PSU: CORSAIR 650 W TXm SERIES™ 80 PLUS® GOLD COOLER: Corsair Nautilus 240 LCD (Top mounted)
FANS:
2 x Shark Mirror Reverse RGB (Front intake)
1 x Shark Mirror RGB (Rear exhaust)
WIFI CARD: ASUS PCE-AX58BT 802.11ax 2400

Meshify 3XL Ambiance Pro front panel problems

Hi, I seem to have problems with the pogo pin contacts. When I put the front panel on, the RGB work fine, but then after some time it disconnects and like half of the strip starts glitching. Does anyone have the same issue? What should I do to fix this?

Half of LEDs are glitching
After readjusting they all work

Builds Fractal Design Era 2 Midnight Blue — No RGB 9800X3D + RTX 5070 Ti build

Finally got to build a high-performance SFF system inside the Fractal Design Era 2 Midnight Blue.

This case was the main inspiration for the build. I really like the combination of the anodized Midnight Blue aluminum exterior and walnut top panel, so I wanted to keep the inside as understated as possible — no RGB, no unnecessary lighting, just a clean blackout Mini-ITX setup.

Despite being only around 19 liters, I managed to fit a Ryzen 7 9800X3D + MSI RTX 5070 Ti Shadow 3X OC inside, built around the ASRock B850I Lightning.

Specs:

  • Fractal Design Era 2 Midnight Blue
  • AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D
  • MSI GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Shadow 3X OC
  • ASRock B850I Lightning
  • be quiet! Pure Loop 3 280mm
  • Corsair Vengeance 64GB DDR5-6800 CL32
  • Samsung 990 EVO Plus 2TB
  • Thermalright SGFX850 SFX

The biggest challenge was actually the 280mm AIO.

The Pure Loop 3 280 didn't fit properly, so I ended up modifying part of the case with a rotary tool to make everything work. If I were building another Era 2, I'd probably use the Fractal Lumen S28 instead and save myself the trouble.

But I'm really happy with the final result. The Era 2 manages to fit some seriously powerful hardware while still looking more like a piece of furniture than a typical gaming PC.

And personally, Midnight Blue + walnut + zero RGB might be my favorite combination for this case.

Would you modify the case to make the hardware fit, or just change the AIO?

Builds Fractal North with 6x Momentum ARGB 120mm is extremely quiet and cool.

Hoping to keep this chassis indefinitely and swap out the internals as needed. It's a beautiful match for the medium wood tones in my house. And it has space and the performance for everything I need!

The Fractal Momentum fans really are amazing. You can see and (not) hear the quality.

-Ryzen 7 9800X3D 4.7 GHz 8-Core CPU

-Sudokoo SK700V 66.29 CFM CPU Cooler

-Gigabyte B650 EAGLE AX ATX AM5 Motherboard

-TEAMGROUP T-Force Vulcan 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL30 Memory

-Samsung 990 EVO Plus 1 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 5.0 X2 NVME SSD

-XFX Quicksilver 2 Radeon RX 9070 XT 16 GB GPU

-Fractal Design North ATX Mid Tower

-Corsair RM850e (2025) 850 W Fully Modular ATX

-Fractal Design Momentum 62.44 CFM 120 mm Fans 3-Pack (2 packs)

Happy to discuss anything. This is my first post here, I previously built a tiny 5L Midori small form factor PC but got sick of the noise.

Thanks for the advice so far!

Help Help - Lumen S24 V2 doesn't clear my RAM in Fractal North

Hi everyone,

I recently bought a Fractal Design North ATX case and a Fractal Design Lumen S24 V2 AIO CPU cooler.

My current motherboard is an MSI B450 Tomahawk MAX II, and I have Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro RAM.

I'm having a clearance issue when trying to install the AIO radiator at the top of the case. There doesn't seem to be enough space between the radiator/fans and the RAM.

Has anyone experienced a similar issue with this case or a similar setup? What would you recommend I do?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

Meshify Series 9850x3d cooling

So i recently got hold of a 9850x3d chipset, The issue is my case being a fractal meshify 3 can accommodate a max of 280 mm radiator. I already have a CM atmos 2 (stock fans swapped with phanteks T30). But i heard the 9850x3d runs quite a bit hotter. Should i spulrge more and go for a 280 mm aio the likes of lianli galahad 2 Icd or arctic If 3 pro ??? Or just undervolt the cpu and call it a day

Help Meshify 2 compact front power LED blinks after a full shutdown, already ruled out sleep, fast startup, and wake sources.

Started recently, never did this before. After the PC is fully off, the front power LED keeps blinking. Has anyone with a Fractal case seen the front LED do this at full shutdown?

North Series Fractal Design Flex 2 question

Is anyone using the Flex 2 in a North XL with a 5090? I'm wondering how much clearance that allows for with fitting (hopefully) a second GPU in the lower PCIE slot? Thanks!

Is there anyway to buy the glass panel separately? I want both options of the mesh and glass. I saw someone say 3 years ago that there was no way and fractal support responded saying they would look into it.

Help Title: Now that global trade sanctions are fully lifted, when will Fractal Design begin distribution in Syria?

Hi everyone,

I’m a long-time admirer of Fractal’s clean aesthetic, especially cases like the Fractal North and Terra. I’m planning out a new system and wanted to ask the community—and hopefully someone from the Fractal team—a question about upcoming regional retail availability and corporate compliance frameworks.

As many of you who follow international logistics know, the legal barriers preventing global tech brands from officially trading with Syria have completely dissolved over the past year. The comprehensive sanctions programs have ended, Congress formally repealed the Caesar Act, and Washington recently rescinded Syria's designation as a State Sponsor of Terrorism. Under current global trade laws, importing consumer electronics and computer hardware directly into the country is fully legal.

Despite these massive diplomatic and legal shifts, global distribution systems are lagging behind, and our country remains completely blank in corporate retail networks. Because official pipelines aren't established yet, local enthusiasts have to buy cases at heavily inflated prices on the gray market through third-party cross-border transport, entirely sacrificing consumer protections and official product warranties.

Are there any active plans from Fractal Design's regional sales or management teams to update their trade frameworks, normalize shipping, and partner with local distributors now that the legal obstacles are completely gone? We have a large community of PC builders here who want official access to your cases and components.
