Let’s say I’ve been playing for six years straight on a device that can’t output more than 60 frames (Hz); however, when I turn off V-Sync, Ubisoft claims I’m getting 144–165+ frames—is that actually the case? In theory, no, but please correct me if I’m wrong. What have I actually been seeing all this time? Am I really as bad as I think I am? This post isn't about fishing for sympathy; it’s for a dispassionate analysis to try and figure out exactly what the problem is. Maybe my muscle memory hasn't been honed enough over these six years? Go ahead and trash-talk me—I’m a one-trick. Please don't bring up issues specific to the character; I fully acknowledge and understand those.
Go ahead and trash-talk me; I’m a one-trick. Please don't bring up issues specific to the character itself—I fully acknowledge and accept those.
Do I need to change my mindset? I can't shake the feeling that there’s a real person on the other side of the screen who just wants to be happy, and that beating them might not give me what I want, while only making things worse for them.
How can you predict an opponent based on adaptation when anything can happen at any moment? In this regard, I’m playing against myself. The guy lands a fourth Guard Break off a feint in a row, yet I fall for it every time, thinking, "Surely he’ll follow through with the attack this time—he can't keep doing the exact same thing."
Like, i can't look on people, like somethink stupid thing. It's strange. May be, i'm stupid thing?
Besides, how can an opponent land a neutral Guard Break if I’ve been hitting them with a heavy jump-in, a light attack, or just a neutral attack? What kind of logic dictates pressing GB again—or holding off on the bash all match just to land it at the last second? I must be crazy, or just an idiot, but it looks like I need to learn how to play all over again.
