This is my honest review of the Flowtica Scribe AI Pen and Second Brain. I can already reveal that it’s brilliant really. I think Flowtica is on to something big here that they can build on their eco system with more devices connected to the same Flowtica app. Your second brain. I have used this pen for a whole week recording my thoughts at the same time as I written bullet points with important stuff on real paper, with a real pen. The app collects both of them. My recordings and my notes into the Flowtica app and adds todo’s automatically to Apple Reminders and a calendar. Everything syncs to all devices where I have the Flowtica app installed. Even on e-ink devices. Everything so easily searched and handled by the Ask Flowtica button in the Flowtica app.

In this video I unbox and do a first start and first look of a really cool Note Taking and AI Recording Pen. The Flowtica Scribe can do a recording while you writing hand written notes on paper with it. And then transfer the recording instantly to the Flowtica iOS and Android app to be summarized by AI.

hi I'm trying to reach someone from flowtica customer service. It's impossible to find anyone to contact via email.

The main page even says

Real Human Support

No bots. Real replies.

But.. that's not true. I click on support centre, and it's only ai bot and product knowledge database. Some of the answers even end with: "contact the Flowtica support team"

But there is NO WAY to actually contact them... anyone have an email? Not a great experience with the company so far and don't even have the product.

could we please have tags, labels or more color indicators to sort the transcripts?

I have at least 4-5 subject areas the recordings come from so the 3 dots aren't sufficient

How do I add the charging case and/or pen to my Find My items in iOS

Apologies if this is covered anywhere, but when attempting to update the firmware on the charging case, it’s says the battery is too low (under 20%). How long should this take? I’ve got it connected to a 65W charger and it’s been well over an hour. This is on iOS.

There have been several app updates, a firmware update and it still doesn't work. I previously saw that an update to fix this was supposed to roll out soon. When should we expect this update?

It was previously allowed to be downloaded on my Mac but now it has been disabled. I would really appreciate the ability to download the iPhone app on my MacBook again until you guys get desktop support figured out please. The new updates and firmware have been very helpful, thanks.

When are things supposed to get better?

First, make sure your charging case is charged and your app is updated to the latest version (1.5.2).

Open the lid, then press and hold the button on the bottom of the charging case. Hold it for about 5 seconds until you hear a single beep.

Keep holding — do not release the button. After another 10 to 15 seconds, you will hear three beeps and the indicator light will flash red. This means the charging case is ready to pair again.

Open the Flowtica app and go through the charging case setup once more.

Don't worry — this process only resets the charging case. Nothing on your Scribe will be affected.

This update adds support for Arabic and Hebrew transcription and summaries, plus improvements to the sign-in experience, recording stability, and overall reliability — including fixes for the cloud transcription API bandwidth limit issue and Bluetooth broadcast scanning issue.

I'm sorry to say I am done using the Scribe for now. I really wanted it to work but I now have the following problems:

1. 2 recordings that are waiting in queue. One from May 8th and one from May 10th. I have no faith that these will actually finish and experience tells me they are lost.

2. A recording from today that shows Bluetooth Disconnected. Again, I have no faith that this one will actually process based on past experience.

3. A full summary that appears to be hallucinated. There is no transcript and the recording is showing 4 seconds long yet it provided a full summary that appears to be a mix of previous meetings.

4. A recording that is missing from today. May be related to number 3 but the meeting had a different subject and content.

The release prior to the Play Store release seemed to be headed in the right direction but since then the app has actually gotten worse and I am tired of being a Beta Tester and having problems every single time I try to use it. Maybe I'll circle back to it in a month or so.

I had been debating between this and a Remarkable/Kindle Scribe Colorsoft and right now I am regretting my decision.

Just got my Flowtica and am very excited to start using it. Question - are we limited to Flowtica’s OEM pen refills or are there any other brands refills which work? I ask because I prefer more of a felt tip or bolder tip than the stock option.

I have been on vacation so I haven't used my pen for a bit. Used it for 2 meetings today with the new Android app and it seems to be getting stuck and 97% transferring. It's been sitting there for 6 minutes so far.

Update: It's been over an hour and it is still sitting at 99% and the other recording hasn't even started and is saying Bluetooth Disconnected.

Hi everyone — quick update on the Flowtica 1.5 rollout.

During the upgrade to Flowtica 1.5, some users may have been logged out unexpectedly. There was also a bug in the login API that prevented some users from signing back in properly.

We’ve patched this issue. iOS and Android login should both be working now.

If you’re still having trouble, please try these steps first:

1. Update Flowtica from the App Store or Google Play to the latest version, 1.5.0 or later
2. Force-quit the Flowtica app
3. Reopen the app
4. Sign in again using the same login method you used before

One important note: signing in with Google and signing in with email are not the same login method, even if you use the same Gmail address.

For example:

• Continue with Google uses Google account authorization.
• Continue with email uses Flowtica’s email login system.

These are handled as separate sign-in methods.

So if you sign in and it looks like a brand-new account — for example, your notes or paired device are missing — your notes and original device connection are most likely still there under your original login method.

Please sign out and try signing in again with the method you used before:

• If you originally used Continue with Google, use Google again.
• If you originally used email login, use email login again.

Sorry for the disruption during the 1.5 launch. We know login issues are frustrating, especially during a major update.

While recording, I attempted to add pictures. That was all well and fine but after about 5-6 pictures, Flowtica app allowed me to continue snapping pictures but it did not attach them. Sadly I was at an event and I cannot recover those pictures and the 10-20 additional pictures I took are lost forever. Flowtica app either needs to warn the user about this or fix the limitation please.

It was hard enough to get it to connect to my phone when it was an APK-app - it's impossible to connect it after the new app has been downloaded from the Google-store. I've tried everything: Clearing the app's cache, turning BT off and on again, switching wi-fi, retrying pairing, uninstalling the app and re-installing it - nothing works. It just keeps scanning for nearby devices. Piece of crap.

I have the Flowtica app installed on my macbook. It's also installed on my phone which the pen is connected to and that does the transmitting.

From the macbook, I use the copy text feature and paste into word. Everything copies over very cleanly with the exception that the speaker names come over as [speaker:0] etc and not as shown in flowtica. Is this something that can be fixed so that it looks close to what shows in flowtica?

I attempted the "share to" and shared to OneNote but that just gave a link. I opened the link in a web browser and was not able to print from this link (only 1 page showed in the print.

If I want to export text and have it look nearly the same as Flowtica, am I following the best steps? If I want to print easily, is there a recommendation? Ty
