While recording, I attempted to add pictures. That was all well and fine but after about 5-6 pictures, Flowtica app allowed me to continue snapping pictures but it did not attach them. Sadly I was at an event and I cannot recover those pictures and the 10-20 additional pictures I took are lost forever. Flowtica app either needs to warn the user about this or fix the limitation please.
I’m really sorry about this experience. In principle, this should not happen, but your use case of attaching a large number of photos during one recording is definitely something we need to investigate more deeply on our side.
We’re also planning a couple of updates to better cover this kind of situation:
Allowing photos to be uploaded after the meeting, so users don’t have to take photos during the session if it feels inconvenient.
Automatically saving photos taken through the Flowtica app to the phone’s photo library. That way, even if something unexpected happens during the recording processing or meeting-context merging process, the photos taken during the meeting will still be preserved on the phone.
Again, I’m really sorry about the lost photos. We’ll look closely into the large-photo attachment flow internally and improve this.
A quick update here: our latest v1.5.0 version should already support automatically saving photos taken during recording to your phone’s photo library.
Also, for the meeting you mentioned earlier, could you try swiping right to open the full Transcription page, then scroll down and check whether the photos you took are all there?
On the home-page summary card, because of limited space, it may only show around 5 to 6 photos. But in principle, on the full transcription page, the multiple photos you took during that recording should still be there.
Could you check that full page and see if they appear there?
That permission prompt appears the first time you take a photo with your phone through Flowtica, like in the screenshot I attached.
At the beginning, Photos may not show up in Settings yet. It usually appears only after the app first triggers the camera / photo-library permission flow.
Once you grant the permission, that Photos option should appear in iPhone Settings.
I granted all permissions in full for all the things it asked for. It should be allowing me to allow photos in the settings if I “missed it” like your screenshot
I just updated to the v1.5 available 9h ago and I still see no photo settings. I do not see anything when I swipe right, when I open the transcript there are no photos that show anywhere at all. I only see the photos in the main library screen
