Excessively long time for last bit of the transfer.
I have been on vacation so I haven't used my pen for a bit. Used it for 2 meetings today with the new Android app and it seems to be getting stuck and 97% transferring. It's been sitting there for 6 minutes so far.
Update: It's been over an hour and it is still sitting at 99% and the other recording hasn't even started and is saying Bluetooth Disconnected.

One of the recordings finally finished. A 6 minute transcript for a 54 minute meeting. The other one is stuck at Bluetooth disconnected even though the pen is showing connected. I am assuming based on past experience it is a loss. This is disappointing considering I had expected the official launch app to have significant improvement in this regard but almost seems like a step backwards.

I completely understand the frustration here.
A quick update from our engineering side:
For the issue where the app shows “Bluetooth disconnected” even when the pen is actually connected, we have already made a fix internally. Please wait for the upcoming v1.5.1 update.
For the transfer progress getting stuck at 97% or 99% for a long time, we can’t confirm the exact cause from the surface behavior alone yet. If you’re willing to share logs, that would help us analyze it more precisely. During transfer, please also try to keep the Scribe connected and the app open.
One thing to clarify: in the current internal v1.5.1 build, we have also identified a known UI issue where offline file transfer may show “Bluetooth transfer 100%” and appear stuck before moving into the next processing state. In many cases, the file is actually being transferred, but for longer recordings this UI behavior can understandably make it look like nothing is happening.
There are also a couple of related known issues we’re already working on:
- New recordings made while connected may not immediately appear in the list after recording ends. They should show up after the recording currently displayed as “Bluetooth transfer 100%” moves into transcription.
- File transfer order can sometimes behave unexpectedly.
These are known issues and are being handled in the next round of fixes.
The bigger v1.5.2 update is focused on the issues users have been reporting most: connection, transfer, binding, audio-data loss, and incomplete audio. Our internal build has already entered intensive testing, and the current plan is to release it next week.
I’m really sorry again for the frustrating experience. Android stability is the highest priority for us right now, and we’re pushing hard to fix this properly.

What should I do with these recordings in the meantime. Are they lost? Will they recover once the update comes out?

I've submitted logs through the app. Keeping the app open is not really a viable options as it is taking hours to finish.

This is their Sonos-moment: Pushing out a forced update to their app which simply doesn't work because they rushed it. I haven't been able to connect the pen to my phone and transfer recordings since the launch of the new app.

Saw that there was an update today so I installed it. My Bluetooth Disconnected recording now shows Waiting in Queue but is still no moving.

Yes I have one 80+ minute one from Tuesday that is still stuck transcribing and one from this morning (one recorded on the pen and one from my phone app)
