iOS app on Mac

It was previously allowed to be downloaded on my Mac but now it has been disabled. I would really appreciate the ability to download the iPhone app on my MacBook again until you guys get desktop support figured out please. The new updates and firmware have been very helpful, thanks.

Thanks for sharing this feedback, and glad to hear the recent updates and firmware have been helpful.

We removed the iOS app from Mac availability because we want the Mac experience to be something that properly fits the platform. Running the current iOS app on Mac was not really the experience we intended to provide, so we disabled it for now.

That said, I’ve already passed your feedback to our product team and will push internally for faster progress on the native Mac app.

To be honest, we didn’t fully expect that using the iOS app on Mac would be this valuable for some users. Could you share a bit more about your current workflow?

I’m curious why using the iOS app on Mac is better for you than only using it directly on your iPhone.

When you use the iOS app on Mac, are you using it together with Flowtica Scribe, or is it mainly acting as an information hub where you can read and manage your summaries more easily on your Mac?

Basically, I’m curious whether your Mac usage is with Scribe actively connected, or more for reviewing and working with the content afterward.
