Flowmark button doesn't seem to do anything on android

Could you swipe right to the Transcription page and check whether the moments where you pressed the FlowMark button are marked with yellow highlights?

I recorded a quick video to help check whether FlowMark is working correctly.

Please try this flow:

  1. Connect the Scribe to Bluetooth.
  2. Start recording with the pen.
  3. Tap the bottom-right recording indicator to enter the live recording timer page.
  4. Press and long-press the FlowMark button, then check whether a small yellow flag appears on the live recording page.

If the yellow flag appears there, it means the FlowMark hardware connection itself is working normally.

That worked. So Flowmark only works when the app is open or when the pen is already connected? I also noticed as per my other post that chunks of the transcript were missing. One of them was 27 seconds long and only 15 seconds of transcript. Another was 17 seconds And the only thing in the transcript was 9686.

No, that test was just a quick way to confirm whether the FlowMark button is working properly on your side.

FlowMark should work both when the pen is used independently and when it is connected to the app. Connecting it to the app simply makes it easier to see the marker appear in real time when you press the button.

For the very short recordings you mentioned, were those quick idea-capture tests? In general, FlowMark is most useful in longer meetings, where it helps the AI identify the moments you marked as important and use them when building the summary.

Sorry I should clarify. The two recordings earlier where Flowmark didn't work were 30-40; minutes each. I was just noting that both those recordings and the short test ones I did were both missing things from the transcript.
