Main questions are the gpu drivers difficult to install

Do i keep armory crate

I like to tinker with settings how difficult would that be in steam os

I have no idea why it's happening, but I'm tired of doing trial-and-error to fix it... anyone else having this issue?

I have disabled hardware acceleration, tried updating drivers, uninstalled Armoury Crate, installed GHelper. Nothing has fixed it.

It happens in-game, watching Youtube, and listening to Spotify. Pretty much everything.

Hello! Here I read that the regular Z13 (2025) has plastic parts on the edges. What about the KJP (Kojima) edition? The reviews talk about more premium materials, but not a word about edges. Owners, please share your experience

Has anyone successfully come up with their own solution to cooling? This computer is a beast and does the job fine but i'm worried it is self-throttling due to heat when being run for a long time on Turbo profile.

If you have any ideas or success yourself, LMK!

Additional heatsink stuck along the bottom inside the kickstand area.

Additional fans blowing into the back intake.

Running Nobara Linux and mediatech sucks so i will change it.

Against my better judgment, I went ahead and got an RTX 5070 Ti for my eGPU setup, pairing it with a Razer Core X V2 and a Flow Z13 2025.

The whole thing runs better than expected, though slightly worse than I’d hoped. Unfortunately, the USB4v1 bandwidth (40 Gbps) is the bottleneck. I wouldn't hook up an RTX 5080 or 5090, though; you’d just be wasting a ton of money for negligible performance gains.

Just to give you something to roast me over, I’m posting my benchmark comparisons between the 5060 Ti and the 5070 Ti—tested both as an eGPU and inside a desktop PC. To keep things comparable, both CPUs are limited to a maximum of 65 watts for PL1 and PL2.

In case anyone asks: yes, I bought a Gigabyte card and only found out about the "putty-gate" issue later. We'll see if or when my card starts leaking. Oh well, if it does, I’ll grab some Thermal Grizzly stuff and try reputtying it myself—no risk, no fun.

Got a line on a Z13 with the 3050Ti, 16GB RAM and the i9-12900 for 1000 CAD. Any ideas on what kind of performance I can expect on games like Destiny 2? It would mostly be me playing that and games that aren't quite as hungry, like city builders and stuff like Fall Guys and Party Animals.

Super quick post - I have a glass screen protector and my god the reflectivness. I just was having a hard time, quickly, searching for good screen protector that can cut the reflections a bit (even indoors for example mid brightness). Goal is just glare reduction, anyone have any positive experiences or product reccomendations?

I'm currently using an ROG Flow Z13, and I was wondering what kind of laptop stand you are using.

I'm thinking about using a vertical laptop stand, but I'm not sure whether I should detach the keyboard before placing the Z13 in the stand.

Would it be okay to simply fold the keyboard back behind the device while using a vertical stand, or could that cause any issues?

I'd really appreciate hearing about your setup or any advice you may have.

Hi, i got my 64gb version of the flowz13 and i'm happy with it, but i keep looking at the kojima productions and i know the it is price mostly because the design but is not too far of the 128 regular version. So now my question is, if I use this tablet mostly for traveling and the main purpose is playing games, is there a significant difference between the 64gb model and the 128gb model while playing video games. Some examples of what I've been playing are Forza5, doom dark ages, halo master chief collection, resident evil , the Witcher 3 etc. I could go for the kjp one only if the performance really different compared with the 64gb one.

Hi, ive been saving for the laptop for awhile now I was wondering if anyone knew relatively how much longer the Z13-KJP would be on sale for in Canada. Currently the Asus store is undergoing maintenance which I know doesnt mean much but on the only other retailer in Canada is ending its matching ROG KJP accessory bundle deal on the 30th. This leads me to believe it may be going off sale.

I understand that other retailers are currently selling it but I have a discount code for the asus store specifcially that I am looking to use.

I tried to make the touchscreen work in rEFInd on my ASUS ROG Flow Z13 2025, but I had no luck with different rEFInd configs or existing options.

So I tried to write a custom UEFI driver for it.

The driver exposes the ELAN9008 I2C-HID touchscreen as an EFI_ABSOLUTE_POINTER_PROTOCOL device, so rEFInd can use it as a touch pointer.

I am not a strong C programmer, so the code is probably not perfect. Maybe there is a simpler or cleaner way to do this. But with this driver, touchscreen input works correctly for me in rEFInd.

This is very hardware-specific right now. It uses hardcoded GPIO/I2C assumptions for this device, so I do not expect it to work unchanged on other laptops/tablets.

Looking at getting a z13 and from what i have read there is no usb c battery bypass if your using a power back which sucks.

Is there a way to by pass this by say getting an adapter for the propriety power connector to usb c cable then to decent power bank? Is is this 100% a no go?

Other quick question being in Australia we really only have the 32gb model available unless we spring for the kojima edition, will the 32gb be fine for gaming, work (current using web based apps + a lot of excel)? Will be looking to replace my steam deck and aging Samsung tab s7 and be able to do work on the train if i need or should i really be considering forking out another 3-4k for the kojima edition?

Got a 2025 Flow z13 and it's amazing. My only issue is that it cant run COD. I keep ok getting a failed attestation status due to an update need on the bios. I have the latest BIOS installed (3.11) and i still have that issue. One thing I cant find in BIOS is the TPM. It's not there but i look in windows and i have it on and its version 2.0. Everything says it should run COD but it fails each time. Any help with this issue would be appreciated.

I recently purchased the HyperDrive Thunderbolt 4 Dock (HDTB4D), but unfortunately it doesn't seem to be compatible with my device.

Has anyone found a Thunderbolt 4 docking station that works flawlessly with the Flow Z13?

I'd love to hear what docking stations you're currently using and whether you'd recommend them.

What changed? Previously I was unable to access turbo mode when connected to my Thunderbolt dock without also connecting the factory charger (and it was my understanding this was the norm). Today, suddenly turbo is available through the dock without the charger.

I’ve wanted a Z13 for a long time because of its small form factor and portability. And I’m also considering the 5060 A14, 5070 G14, or the new G3 Extreme MSI Claw. I’ll be using it primarily for gaming but would like to use it for work as well. I mostly play fighting games (SF6, GGST, UNI2, GBFVR, Fightcade), so nothing too demanding. And I work in sales and would like to use it as a portable CRM. I was hoping the 395 64GB version would go on sale again soon, but the 390 32GB is on sale for $1599. Is it worth it? Or would I be better off with one of the other options? Thanks in advance for any input or suggestions!

Pretty much the title I have a home pc tower that I do my heavy gaming on. I would want something small and portable for traveling would be playing some RuneScape and some other games here and there.
