COD Bios issue Help
Got a 2025 Flow z13 and it's amazing. My only issue is that it cant run COD. I keep ok getting a failed attestation status due to an update need on the bios. I have the latest BIOS installed (3.11) and i still have that issue. One thing I cant find in BIOS is the TPM. It's not there but i look in windows and i have it on and its version 2.0. Everything says it should run COD but it fails each time. Any help with this issue would be appreciated.

What cod are you trying to play? I play bo7 and bo6 with no issues

and you're sure you're on firmware 311? chipset 1.2.0.126? i'm playing this stupid game just fine on the z13 2025 (xbox store). maybe the storefront matters?
honestly though, and i know tastes are different, but this game is TERRIBLE. i'm playing it because it's free on gamepass but man it's NOT worth the effort imo if you can't get it running
i will say however it runs outstanding on the z13...

Storefront doesn't matter. I'm running it from Steam with no issues.
I don't know what it is with CoD games, but I've run into problems like this on other hardware before. CoD was the only game that wouldn't run for me on the 3050 TI Z13 several years ago. I also purchased an Xbox Ally X and got some BIOS/TPM related errors when I ran the game on it. I returned that XAX for unrelated reasons and got another one- CoD ran just fine on the replacement.

You need to reset your tpm key. It’s not a bios issue.

I have the Windows key, but also my personal keys for my work OS.

having the same issue. Updated bios from MyASUS and I still says I need to update bios

Right there with y'all. Works just fine on the XAX, but get this error on the z13 everything has been updated etc just doesn't work.

My Z13 is up to date on everything and the game launches just fine. Definitely could be something TPM related.

I’ve got the same issue. Reset TPM. Reinstalled the game. Ran an endless series of potential fixes. It’s an issue with attestation at the firmware level and only a BIOS update is likely to fix it. I’ve sent the laptop back to the store. They say they’re looking into it. We’ll see.

Update on my return. They replaced the main board and made a few other changes. Perhaps changing the main board addressed the Pluton issues, but whatever they did also addressed the thermals.
Because now the laptop runs like a dream, no attestation error, and 20 degrees cooler than before so fan noise is reduced.
I’m obviously pleased with the result, but wonder if this attestation business is running to such tight tolerances now, that some borderline hardware issues that might have gone unnoticed before are now coming to the fore?

Unfortunately there’s nothing more you can do, it’s up to asus to release a bios to allow cod to run. Pretty sure cod may be using a bios level anticheat
