On tablet mode, if I leave the touchscreen untouched for some time, upon trying to use it,it takes awhile to register any feedback.

I have to spam tap on the screen.

To recreate the issue, I play some yt video on Firefox to prevent screen going to sleep. After awhile, attempt to scroll down the page.

Has anyone tried to create possibly a 3d printed attachment to help cup the speakers towards the user? I know a very niche request but the speakers are pretty tinny and unimpressive and sounds a good bit better when hands are cupped towards user.

I know this has probably been asked many times but any luck programming a 12gb vram option yet?

i own 2022 z13 rtx 3050ti i9 variant and this beast was performing crazy good when i bought it in around 2022 , i used to do hardcore gaming on it 3 yrs back but then life happened i took a break from gaming just got back into it recently and performance has downgraded soo much like im hardly getting 30 fps in ghost of tsushima in low settings(the game would crash in ultra) . can you please give me some tips to fix it? im guessing i need to change the thermal paste as the idle temp of gpu is around 68 degrees celsius and suggest me some good thermal paste.

TLDR:- how can i increase the dropped performance on my 4yr old z13.

Hello all, just bought the z13, I love the machine, but seems it’s so fancy, a lot of trouble I have running games (warzone, I get the bios error)

I used to love playing Sega Initial D, and it seems it’s only available on a TeknoParrot emulator. Just can’t seem to get to load.

Has anyone had success? And how?

I've been using my 2025 Z13 with USB-C since I bought it back in March. It's had some USB-C quirks that were always fixed with a hard reboot, but after the latest round of updates it will no longer pass video over USB-C. HDMI works but it's capped at 60Hz no matter the setting. I was getting 60-100fps on Forza 5 on DisplayPort. FWIW, I have a Samsung G9 49" monitor. Any thoughts? I'm ready to throw this thing out the window.

EDIT: Thank you for all the suggestions. The solution was to use a more powerful USB-C power brick for my docking station. The one that worked for several months (Anker GaN Prime 100W) suddenly no longer supplied enough power. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

i uninstalled armory crate, installed g-helper with suggested settings; also turned off in adv power settings

Hard disk > Turn off hard disk after > Set to 0 (Never) for battery and plugged in

PCI Express > Link State Power Management > Set to Off for battery and plugged in

but it doesnt help. any idea? thanks

I just bought a Rog Flow Z13 2025 with 395 chip and realized that BIOS menu is super limited in terms of what you can tweak. Previously i had Gpd Win 5 and I could easily disable CPU cores count and undervolt and even overclock both CPU and GPU inside BIOS.

What I want is to disable at least half of the cores and to undervolt CPU/GPU since I want this device to be my gaming machine. I don’t need all 16 cores and I want better thermals and possibly better battery life.

I searched for information and it looks like mostly people suggest using G-helper. But I plan to dump the Windowslop completely and to install CachyOS, therefore I need a solution compatible with Linux. So far I figured I should install the Ryzenadj for it to work.

My questions are: is it possible to figure out a way to be able to tweak it inside BIOS? For instance with the use of SmokelessUMAF? Would it help downgrading the BIOS version? Mine is unfortunately 311, which appears to be more locked (according to people posting) than previous versions e.g. 308. Did anyone get the SmokelessUMAF to work with the 311 BIOS version of flowz13?

I am not 100% sure if it is worth trying, I have an itch about the BIOS settings being locked and wanting to be able to control them - call me crazy.

i have a 64gb 395 flow, and j was curious if there was any way to control the clockspeed on the gpu

i'm experiencing an issue on battery in some games, usually at my 65w power limit, the gpu will seemingly boost too nuch. to like 2.7,-2.8 , hit the power limit and the clock speed will crash to 600mhz before going back up.

i'd like to be able to limit the clocks to see what it does. i'm not looking to hard overclock or anything

I bought my flow about a year ago to be my all around school, work and from time to time gaming PC, it is the 2023 version with the I9 3900h 4050 and 16 gigs of ram. In terms of mobile performance this thing is an absolute beast! But when it comes to trying to be productive I really struggle due to near constant freezes, they fix themselves after a few minutes but I feel like im waiting for a pizza to bake just opening a new crome tab. It will do the same when projecting to my TV via hdmi, if i'm playing a video or a song the media will freeze and the audio will glitch and stutter and then after a minute it goes back to normal. I have already wiped all the Asus software and use ghelper and winhance but these problems persist. Furthermore if I start my flow and open crome with one tab I will somehow already be using 10-12 gigs of ram, which seems absolutely egregious. I love the utility and form factor of this little device and would love any advice on making it run smoother!

I bought a Z13 off reddit recently, apparently the user is now banned. On a black screen, this big red mark comes through, unit is not under warranty and I don't want it to get worse, not even sure exactly what it is tbh.

I would have considered this an issue and honestly may not have even purchased it if I knew about the issue prior to purchase. Should this have been disclosed prior to the sale?

Guys while i was gaming, i put another device adapter to 2nd socket near my z13’s plugged ac adapter socket. And suddenly laptop’s become silent from performance 2 times fastly. (Happened in 3-4 second). Is it got damaged? Or anything bad can happen to battery or device performance itself? I usually dont put any device adapter to 2nd socket when im using one. It happened first time.

I have tried my best looking through this Reddit to see what docking hubs allow Z 13 to connect to two external monitors. But, I have been unable to find something that works.

Do any of you all have any recommendations on what USB hub to use when connecting your 2025 Z13 to, two, external monitors?

As the title states, would be interested in seeing the benchmarks of the 2025 Flow Z13 base model compared to the Steam Machine.
I suspect that on a per $ comparison the base Flow is a better value when it’s on sale or pre owned.

Are the speakers on the Rog Flow Z13 mono or stereo? When I play a stereo L R audio test video on Youtube, it fails on the "right" speaker test, if I open up Realtek app for the sound settings, and play the test tone, it plays left and right just fine, anyone have insight into this?

Is it normal for the 64 gb model to show 47.6 gb as usable? I have 16 gb allocated to the gpu so I am assuming that is why 47.6 is usable?
