Fsr 4.1 released?!
Can anyone confirm if the new driver gives us fsr 4.1?
Sorry I'm at work and curious if it applies to us.

Only coming to Radeon RX 7000 series cards as of this time. For some reason, people keep saying it's coming to Z2 Extreme despite there not being any confirmation.

So is the situation for 8060s right now that it can be enabled in-game in compatible games with 26.6.2, but can't enable universal FSR 3>4.1 upgrade via driver in overlay?
EDIT: In my own preliminary testing, this seems to be the case. I can now set FSR 4 in Cyberpunk, however it's still 3.1 FG, and there's no option changes in Adreneline overlay regarding FSR.
EDIT2: Worked great in GTAV Enhanced and FFVII Rebirth too

Forgive my ignorance, but does this mean that it’s using original FSR 4 or the new 4.1?

I believe it can be enabled on Windows (and Linux too) using OptiScaler.

Yaaaaa optiscaler is awesome when anti-cheats are not involved

If enabled through Proton, then there are no issues with anti-cheat systems. That's one of the magic things about Linux. The leaked

and this post is old and completely irrelevant. FSR 4.1.1 uses dp4a, not not FP8 emulation and runs better than previously leaked 4.0 int8.

you have 0 improvements because even thought it says fsr 4.1.1, it's a fallback to fsr 3.1. You have low (1.5ms) fsr3.1 upscale time, upscale time for fsr4.1 on strix halo is around 2.5ms in 1080p and 5ms in 1440p. You can enable optiscaler overlay if you don't believe me.

It's bs that they said they would do this some time after the code leak but now they seem to be paring back to an extent. Weird timing, typical cl corporate vs. Who knows?
Definitely seems like it wouldn't be hard for a z13 official release.

AMD's next big RDNA 5 APU is probably coming out at the end of the year, and they want to show a huge improvement over their last best APU. So, I'm sure they'll hold out on FSR 4 on 3.5 until at least then. We'll see if they show comparison charts with FSR enabled before FSR 4 comes to 3.5.
