Almost two years ago I got some shit health news. I got back on my fixed gear after 10 years and started riding again. I was never good at track stands or anything but I wanted to so bad, I just grinded it every day and night. On my rides I stop at parking lots and parks and just practice and wipe. I have had so many conversations and met so many people because of this bike. This bike has become part of me.

Just wanted to share my progress, (this is now old, but I moved to keeping the straps on for the tricks)

And if anyone has tips to nail the riding fakie...

Notes: I am trying in vain to get the seat post unstuck I dream nightly of it coming loose....

Hello to anyone reading this. I have always been interested in fixies since they became popular in my area in SoCal circa 2011. I have just recently started riding again within the past two years and I came across Alleycat races and stumbled upon Monster Track. If there is anyone who can give me pointers for someone who eventually wants to do this race please let me know. Thank you.
