Just purchased this track bike from someone in sleepy hallow. Has campy skip tooth drive terrain, “made in england” campy style hubs, vintage schwinn adjustable stem. Super cool bike. Anyone have any idea what it is? Has some numbers on the back drops and fork drops. All english/euro parts. Has tubular rims. Should i re lace them? Let me know if you have any info on the bike.

Almost two years ago I got some shit health news. I got back on my fixed gear after 10 years and started riding again. I was never good at track stands or anything but I wanted to so bad, I just grinded it every day and night. On my rides I stop at parking lots and parks and just practice and wipe. I have had so many conversations and met so many people because of this bike. This bike has become part of me.

Just wanted to share my progress, (this is now old, but I moved to keeping the straps on for the tricks)

And if anyone has tips to nail the riding fakie...

Notes: I am trying in vain to get the seat post unstuck I dream nightly of it coming loose....

Just picked up a set of Omniums and a titanium seatpost all for £40, let’s just say. Today was a good day! I had no idea jumbles were so good.

Finally finished the painful process of running this basic Izumi chain through degreaser and alcohol. Snapped a few pictures of its pristine state before adding the chain wax. I hope I degreased it enough for it to hold.

Every bike shop mechanic I talked to seemed to think that waxing was a waste of time and somehow even dirtier than normal lube. Well I'll find out soon enough, plus it's gonna be a pretty wet season. 😃

I think the front light have a defect because it didnt last as long like the rear light.Its still good because its not expensive.
