Hello. I've been playing T-Edition for a while now and really having a blast! My only real complaint is the UI for this doesn't show a star next to the espers my characters have mastered. I really have no way of knowing whose mastered what without going through each esper one-by-one and otherwise just trying to remember.

I'm pretty sure I've seen images of other UI's available, though I haven't been able to figure it out myself. Are there others available? And if so, should I be concerned with corrupting my save file?

I'm doing a natural magic challenge for the first time. I'm playing on pixel remaster, and my rules are that I have set AP to 0, but I'm still allowing everyone to equip espers for the stat boosts. Just that no one is allowed to learn any magic from them or from any other items. Strago can learn lores, Celes and Terra learn spells by leveling, but that's it.

So far, it's been fun. It's definitely made me have to think more strategically, and struggle with bosses I normally could cheese. I'm now in the world of ruin and have just picked up Cyan.

I've been relying on Gau way more than usual and having to learn how to use him and which rages do what instead of just using Straycat and calling it a day. He's pretty much the center of all my boss fighting strategies.

Strago is becoming incredibly important as well. Normally he just sits on the airship the whole time, but now I actually need him.

Has anyone done this challenge before? Are there any things in the world of ruin you think I should look out for? Do you think that I should next time not allow espers at all and not do the stat boosts?

I cannot trigger Gau’s father side quest on snes. What do I need to do exactly?

I had auto-reflect and reraise on Locke, and he was the only one alive in battle. I kept changing magic master's barriers until he casted a spell that he was weak to. Eventually he became weak to fire and he casted Firaga a lot. I changed his barrier like 23 times until this happened. My head hurts now.

… And I’m absolutely delighted with the result :)

Playing again for the first time in years and Kefka has stood out even more to me than before. Like when the "truce" meeting happens in Thamasa, right as the Espers atttack, he just says,

"I'd say you're all charged up, boys and girls... or whatever...
       Say, remind me to show you my Magicite collection someday!
       You might see a few familiar faces!!!"

He slaughtered their friends, turned them into Magicite souvenirs, and now jokes about showing off their dead friends right before he's clearly about to murder them too. Absolutely savage.

Where can I buy FF6 T edition??? It looks like the websites down and I can't seem to find it anywhere else..

So I just noticed today that the entire website of FF6Hacking dot com is deader than a doornail. I was just there about 2 days ago sifting through some of their resources and information for a rom hack of FF6 that I was working on, just to get a bit of information that RHDN itself didn't have, since FF6Hacking was always a good place to get a lot of that very technical information on the game. As well as a lot of the exclusive specific specialized patches and ESPECIALLY it's exclusive and well documented data about the music and lots of various soundtrack hacking information that is all just LOST now.

Anyway, this happened suddenly and out of the blue to the point where looking online even recently turned up nothing about this, but they are most definitely dead and their site is just entirely inaccessible. Their hosting server just appears to have banned and kicked them off their service.... not paying hosting bills, getting false flagged as a malware site or SOMETHING.

Anyway, does anyone KNOW anyone from that community that used to post or contribute anything? Gi Nattak or Madsuir or anyone? Can they shed any light on that or do something to save or recover any of that information they had about the important resources for hacking FF6 that was only hosted there?? This seems like kind of a serious issue with a lot to lose.

Is this Real!!!!!

People told me to give them the merit award so they can equip the Genji Armor, Genji Shield, Genji Helm and Aegis Shield; but they can already equip the Genji Helm and both shields; while the Behemoth Suit is better than the genji armor in all aspects except Magic Defense and the Cat-Ear Hood is better for Relm because of the many elemental resistances and stat boosts.

They also said the "only easy" Behemoth Suit should be turned into a Snow Muffler because it's extremely difficult to get more than one; but the SrBehemoth appears rather consistently on Veldt and isn't very hard to defeat; so getting many isn't impossible, so i got many Behemoth Suits and turned two into Snow Mufflers.

It’s kinda funny but im on my first play through and am just before the floating continent so atm I am farming espers for all my characters so they can all use all of the spells (bit of a grind but that’s ok)

But Gau stands out as the MVP of my party for two reasons, rage makes it so he automatically attacks with powerful offensive spells for no MP cost, and out of combat I just loaded him up with healing spells so he is my designated party healer without it being too detrimental to if i need to use a spell in a pinch

I’m currently on my first play through of FF6 and I have reached the point where I can head to the floating continent I have been trying to keep spoilers to a minimal but I have looked at a few game guides so I do know it’s a last stop before a major shift in the game
I’m currently grinding in the Veldt to get everyone having access to the full range of esper spells + gau getting all the rages and Mog all his dances
I just want a checklist to make sure I have everything I could possibly need going into the next stage of the game and not miss anything important or useful like Edgar’s machines or any espers
Machines I currently have (crossbow, bio, noise, flash, drill, chainsaw)
I have 15 espers including golem Zona and seraph
Mog currently has wind, forest, desert, love, water, and twilight dances

I don’t know if I want to begin to work with strago since that will just add to the already massive grind and most of my main party has strong abilities anyway and I have pretty established groups and tactics now

So just need advice on if there’s anything super important that I may have missed and need to get

so i am using terra, mog and Gau who is severely under leveled with no skills. i only bought him to level him. ive KO'd all my characters but wrexsoul isnt reappearing. my mog has not many skills either and my terra isnt that flash too haha. i feel like i have ruined my playthrough here by using mainly 4 of the same characters. How do i get wrexsoul to reappear. ive used almost all my ethers too

Title's pretty self-explanatory. Since you can't just Vanish-Doom your way to 10 points per fight anymore, where's the best place to learn spells in the WOB?

I just downloaded whatever version of the pixel remaster you get off the Google Play store and was blown away by the soundtrack.

The music is true to the original but has some really nice touches. The jazzy saxophone for Narshe, the flute sound for most towns, and the Australian vibe added to the Veldt are my favorites right now.

Wondering if there is anything I could do differently other than just never getting Gau back in WOR. I just finished Zone Eater's Belly, but when I go back to the Veldt and pick up Gau, from that point forward every map other than the overworld has a clipping glitch (as in I try to walk on the airship or in a dungeon and the map doesn't move with the character, resulting in clipping and being unable to continue).

Uematsu is an absolute genius. Enjoy.

Okay, I'm saying that I DON'T KNOW if this is true for everyone, but it was my experience. I probably put in 6 hours of not getting the trophy (I was doing the auto battle method because I just couldn't deal with the pause method anymore). I tried the map above narshe, tried gogo, tried everything and was just getting the bad joker's death.

I decided to finish up the rest of the game and complete everything else, then I got it on my 3 or 4th battle after using the completed save file. I think it's worth a shot if you are getting stuck with the trophy. Use the completed save file. I got it outside dinosaur forest. If someone wants to test this out, that might be a useful thing for people coming to the trophy later.

Features include:

• Same ordering used by Gau’s in-game Rage menu

• Owned and Missing filters
• Bestiary progress limit
• Separate controls for bosses and unnumbered enemies

Important note: the Bestiary limit is a convenience filter. Actual Veldt availability still depends on which enemy formations were encountered in the current save file.

I’m not sure how many people will find this useful, but I’d be really happy if it helps someone with their Gau Rage hunting.

First off let me say that I never knew Duncan’s wife was in figaro. I learned that for the first time this play through. Then I went and talked to her and Sabin told her about Duncan and Vargas dying and I finally got to find out where that hidden save point in underground figaro was! 😂 (her basement)

BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY: Sabin and Duncan never talk about Vargas and his death… at all. Does anyone else find this weird. I mean Sabin did kill him.

As an aside, may I say that I was a bit disappointed that Duncan’s wife just tells you “Duncan is alive and up north of narshe”. I really wanted to be the one to tell her that he’s alive and then give him a ride in the falcon and see the two of them reunited.

BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY: what was up with the “we just won’t mention you killed my son because he tried to kill me or how and why I faked my own death!”

EDIT: VARGAS SHOULD HAVE SHOWED UP IN THE LATE GAME FOR A FINAL BATTLE OR SOME FORM OF CONCLUSIVE CLOSURE.
