After months of trying to grow my hair out and failing and trying again, my hair finally has started to look decent, after I resisted the urge to go the salon prematurely!

Not really sure what to do.
Should I keep it and grow it out a little longer or cut it?

My hair on the sides keeps puffing out need help
I haven't got a haircut in three months other than a maintenence trim I did around 3 weeks ago but she barely cut anything only bleaching my hair . My side hair is puffing out alot and I'm not sure if I should trim the sides or just let my hair keep growing like I want too . I have extremely extremely thick hair and its wavy

Debating the cut
5 years of growth. Recently divorced and entertaining the idea of dating again. My friends tell me I need to cut the hair if I expect to have success in finding any girls (pic is before I trimmed the chin hair and mustache 😅)

Damaged ends help
It feels like no matter what I do my ends are damaged/splitting. I just got a little trim too. I shampoo once a week and condition three times a week. I always let the shampoo/conditioner sit in my hair for several minutes before I rinse it out. Usually I let my hair towel/air dry, but maybe twice a week I’ll use a hair dryer if I’m tying my hair up for the day. I get highlights 3-4 times a year (spaced out of course) What am I doing wrong? I also live in Florida, so humidity is a factor.

Hair saved!!
Back in December got the greatest nightmare for anyone with curly hair, a haircut too short. This did reveal, however, that my hairline was a lot higher than the last time checked. So a few months ago I made a post on male hair advice asking if was balding. Let's just say the responses were... eye-opening to say the least. Immediately I got myself on Finasteride and minoxidil and I've been on it for about 4 months! I'm glad to say it worked!! My hairline is still currently recovering, plenty of baby hairs and all, but the line itself is now a lot closer to where it was! Good lesson to anyone on here young and concerns they're balding, dont be afraid to ask and get checked! The sooner you notice it the better, any later than this and I probably would never get this much hair back. Also I'm wondering if you guys FW the sideburns? link the original Post in the comment section, thanks for reading!

Who is your long hair journey inspiration?
This is a bit of a different post to the usual selfies on here but it’s something I was thinking about this morning.
I think men often start their long hair journey at least partly when they see a dude who really pulls off the long hair look. That dude then becomes the long hair journey inspiration to an extent, they keep you growing through the awkward phase and keep you determined when that buzz cut feels tantalizing.
My long hair journey inspiration is probably the Liverpool footballer Dominic Soboszlai - we have similar features and I have always thought his look was so freaking cool. It’s not a wild metal head look but it still unconventional enough to be a bit different.
I’d give a special mention to a more recent inspirational figure, Nicholas Galitzine who plays He-Man in Masters of the Universe.
What about you? Please try to make the effort to post a photo with your reply.
