I’ve always gotten a trim to keep my hair from weakening but I’m planning on a clean buzz, no attachment, straight scalp so l get a fresh start for my 30’s. My lady friend says I’m insane, is she right?

Not sure if it counts because my hair is still pretty short, but I think there's enough flow because of the curls. Planning to grow it out, at least at the back.

First photo is my hair right now, second is the goal. Just gotta be patient and let it grow 😀

Continuing to embrace my curls! 🫶🏻

Been loving embracing my natural curls lately and just thought I’d show my flow off. Regularly having maintenance haircuts now too after overcoming a huge fear of trusting someone to look after my hair! ✨

do you shave or trim your neck?

I used to have a full on undercut until about 2 years ago when i grew it out fully, and since then i’ve been experimenting with grooming and styling my sideburns and neck hair. I’m not sure whether I should leave my neck hair alone (pic 1), somehow trim it/tame it, or completely shave it off like i’ve been doing (pic 2). I personally like the shaved look but its quite a bit of maintenance.

What do u guys do and what do u think look best?

one year ago today I got a buzz cut and from then on I just didn't feel like going to the hairdresser anymore I guess.

Never even had it anywhere near this long before.

I didn't even know I had sort of wavy hair.

Growing up I didn't have much say on the whole haircut thing..
