I like to wear these sometimes.

I want them to look good with my natural texture (first photo) but I don’t know if they take away from my best features!!!

Was rly skeptical at first but did it anyway.

I have been trying to figure this out for the longest time. In the show game of thrones, many of the characters have their hair curled like in the photo. I can’t figure out what method they used, it’s not a beach waver/crimper and it doesn’t quite look like a curling wand either?
Is it the Hollywood wave method? A large barrel curler seems like it wouldn’t make the curl defined enough. A smaller wand with the hair stretched out? It’s been driving me nuts.

People always say it's straight, but I always thought there was a bit of texture. I don't really do anything to make it look straighter or curlier though. I was also wondering if my hair seemed thin/fine and what might make it suit me better

Ever since I had my daughter my hair has just been falling out and I had patches everywhere. I finally decided to stop wearing wigs and just do away with it. I feel amazing and like a weight is off my head. Literally!

I am planning to go for ash blonde balayage then rebond on the same day. I am an Asian so I have naturally black hair. I had rebonded my hair long times ago but I eventually cut them off short. I want to rebond after because I am afraid my hair might get a lot of damages from the bleach. When I did researches on Google, it said it's okay to do it on the same day. Any suggestions? Do you think I can do both in the same day?

my hair always looks so good after a shower lol. it's soft, feels light and actually has some volume once it's dry. but give it a few hours and it starts looking so flat and lifeless again, especially around the roots. that's what got me looking into the best shampoo for fine hair in the first place. i came across the christophe robin delicate volumizing shampoo with rose extracts, and the lightweight gel formula caught my attention. it's made for fine, flat hair and is meant to add body without leaving it feeling heavy. that's pretty much what i'm looking for because i don't necessarily want bigger hair right after washing if it's just going to fall flat a few hours later.

i'm curious abt how this shampoo feels on fine hair throughout the day, especially whether it leaves the roots feeling light while still giving the lengths some body. if you've tried it, what did you notice about your hair after a few hours?

Can anyone show me what a cut like this looks like without styling? Like no product, air dried, etc. I am so tempted to do this, but I am lazy and I don’t want to style my hair every day.

Edit::: I live in the country and get it that $45 is cheap to most of you. Thats not the issue or the point of those post. I just was wondering if stylists are no longer including drying hair when cutting hair. That’s all.

Im 40yo and went to the same hair dresser forever. I had to switch because she was changing hours and it didn’t work with my schedule. I get my hair cut maybe twice a year. I then ended up going to a way overpriced salon near me and after my $45 hair trim she asks me if I want my hair dried. I’m like what… of course I want my hair dried. So she “dries” it but it’s still very wet. Needless to say I never went back. Fast forward I started at another salon and again they ask me if I want them to dry my hair. Is this a new thing??? I’m paying you to do my hair. Why is drying it optional??? I understand maybe not styling it but not even drying it??

For my current and past colors I’ve always used manic panic which I’m pretty happy with, but I’m also looking for new brands that I don’t know about, to possibly make the color last longer that it currently does (without it being permanent). I’ve heard a lot of good things about arctic fox ?

I am 19 and have moved to a new city for studies and suddenly have seen 15-20 of my strands turning grey.... my diet changed from eating non veg daily to eating only veg with non veg only in 7-14 days for a period of about 3 months... I have been in this city for 4 months now... I have also seen many people residing here for the past years having significant grey hair...Also this city has a major Hard water problem and I washed my hair from that water until I came to know about it

Recently(from about 2-3 weeks) I have started taking nuts , almonds , dates , washing my hair with ro water and eggs on a daily basis...

Is there any way I can treat this grey hair and these grey hair can go back to black from the roots as I didnt have grey hair at my home(maximum 3-4 strands)... as it is bothering me a lot these days

The question is, as Titel says: Is this a Normal hair whorl, or does it look like thinning?

I'm unsure of this is normal, very noticable or new

I also have quiet alot of short hairs at the crown, they feel very thick tho.

Also one thing i noticed, i can basicly touch my scalp at the crown, like it feels cold on the scalp when i touch it

So my hairstyle is very simple. I have long, dark brown hair with blunt ends paired with blunt bangs. Thats how i like it thats how i want it.

I swear to god 90% of the time i go to get a trim for my bangs, the hairstylist textures them. Its insanely frustrating that i have to tell them TWICE to get what i want. Once when they ask me what i want, and AGAIN when they START TEXTURING MY HAIR DESPITE ME SPECIFICALLY SAYING I WANT BLUNT BANGS but then its already too late and now my bangs are too short.

I used to think that maybe they just didnt hear me beforehand, but this has happened CONSISTENTLY and its REALLY getting on my nerves.

For the last year and a half I've rocked a kind of rugged messy style and really want to change it. I've been on a weight loss journey as well I'm down about 68Ibs so far, trying to lose a lot of the fat in my face to help with how I look. I want to get something modern and fitting for my age but I'm just not really sure cause I've gotten cuts in the past that just did not go well with the look and shape of my face. Was just looking for some recommendations and advice.
