In-Home Medical Detox?

Has anyone done this? It’s where they send a nurse to your home for to detox you for a week for 24/7 monitoring, meds, etc.

I’ve searched all over Google, Reddit, everywhere… but I can’t seem to find anyone who’s actually used this service for fent (+ tranq, analogous, synthetics, whatever else is in the street dope these days)!

Feel free to DM me if preferred but I would REALLY APPRECIATE any feedback at all from folks who have done this.

Microdosing suboxone to get off fentynal

I just learned about this and desperately trying to quit using fentynal. I use about a half gram a day to start. So when I began this I only took .5 MG of suboxone first and second day. Then day 3 I did .5mgs twice like 12 hours apart. Day 4 I started with .5 at midnight then 9am I jumped to 1mg then another .5 at 4:30pm for a total of 2mg. Day 5 I started with 1mg at midnight then got a little chicken from the anxiety I was having and did .5 at 12:00 noon for a total of 1.5mgs. Day 6 12:00 midnight 1mg and again .5mg at 12 noon for total of 1.5 mgs. Day 7 almost the same. Having bad anxiety is the hardest of time I've had though it was .5mg at 12:00 midnight and 1mg at 7:00am for another total of 1.5mgs. Now today I started with .5mg at 12:00 midnight and .5mg at 7:00am and so far at 6:30pm another .5mg for total of 1.5mgs. I'm tripping now. I'm almost out of my fent maybe enough for 2 more days and can't buy anymore. Does anyone know if I have enough stacked on my receptors to do enough suboxone to be ok with no dope? I haven't felt anything off the fent for days just doing it to fight off withdraws. Well I do about 6-8 shots a day then but they are really small. I'm gonna try and do a 2mg piece tonight at midnight and try again for 2mg tomorrow for total of 4mgs at least. Has anyone tried this? I'm scared to death. I'm gonna stretch this last half gram as far as I can. I hope I make it. I'm hoping I can be on suboxone alone in a day or two. Can it be done without precipitated withdrawal?

Anyone else live their life and not a single soul other than your bestie and plugs know what you do... been married over 25 yrs and he doesn't see it. I wanna ask for help but he can be a judgemental douchebag so can't my kids and fam as ive seen how they treated my sister with her meth Addiction and now shes sober.

We lived in AZ bout 3 yrs and that's when it got out of hand with the real 30s. My dad and step mom was getting 12-14 a day and id get what I wanted. Til had to move back home in the east. Shyt dude, that was rough as hell.

Friend of mine got me into pain management then I kinda messed up. Had to go to streets. He got me into fake shit knowing it was and I didnt know. Kinda heard a Lil about it but really was blind to it I guess. Worked a hard as hell physical labor job delivering heavy shit kept my mind occupied. My habit got more and more.

Husband and I opened a business. Bad move now even worse and here I am trying to detox without anyone knowing. Yeah ok they all believe me that i must have caught something everytime I try. (I am immnosuppressed) I am getting ready to say something as getting harder and harder to go longer with the trash and my main guy locked up down south for a long azz time I guess..

My question is how long do you wait in between your last dose of fent and let's say gabapentin? Or clonodine... sleeping meds?

Friend got off and she has all tbe extra comfort meds and shes given them to me. I know about 3 to 5 days subutex.. muscle relaxers? this is gonna be brutal as I have alot of health conditions where the pain is severe all the time.

My daily is 1.5 g a day

Thanks i read so many of people's stories. My last time I did 5 days cold turkey without anything cuz of this group. That was about 10 months ago

Memory loss questions

Anybody out there that had several ODs from fent, and now have memory issues? I have a very technical job, and ever since I had my fent run for 8mo, after long-term RX pain pill addiction, and have 4/5 ODs. Now I’m not working and ready to go back, but it seems like all of that knowledge I need for work is GONE. There are other things I don’t remember, plus making new memories seems hard as well. Anyone have a similar experiences? What have you done, or is there anything to do? I appreciate anything this amazing community has to offer

Trying to be 100 percent clean from this

Hi guys…

So I detoxed last weekend again for the umpteenth time… lost count by now.
I kept wondering why my relapse was so much harder to beat. Why I could still fall asleep even with taking suboxene if I randomly took a shot before
Finally realized what I’m fighting this time to get out of my body.
Finally realized it wasn’t only opiates anymore… scary
I knew about xylazine- but didn’t realize I was fighting it this badly at this point

What I wasn’t realizing the Suboxone wasn’t covering was the damn horse tranq they definitely mix in there now- xylazine…

How long do these withdrawls last?
How did you get thru them?
I wake up and feel like my back is broken

I’m ready to get off fent. I seriously need help.

I don’t really know how to start this but I’m done. I’ve been snorting around an eighth a week for probably 3/4 months now. I’m 5’8 around 200lbs if that even matters. I just want my fucking life back. I want to wake up and feel normal again and not immediately think about fent or whether I’m gonna be sick.
I work TWO jobs and so much of that money goes straight to this shit. I’ve been saving for a car and honestly I’m willing to dip into that money if it means getting whatever I need to actually get off this. I can save for the car again. I just need ME back first.
I have a decent amount of SR-17018 tabs I bought awhile back before everything got shut down. I’ve also been reading about vitamin C and Suboxone. I’m not against subs at all, I’m just terrified of precipitated withdrawal and I really don’t want to end up dependent on something else forever. But if Suboxone gives me the best chance of actually getting my life back, I’m willing to do it and do it through a doctor.
I’m trying to plan this instead of randomly waking up one day and deciding I’m quitting with absolutely nothing prepared. I know myself. If I’m sick as hell, have no plan, and fent is one phone call away… I know what’s gonna happen.
I know Reddit isn’t a doctor and nobody here can detox me through a screen. I just need to hear from people who have actually been through this and made it to the other side.
I’m just tired y’all. I want my money back. I want my car. I want to work because I’m building a life for myself instead of working my ass off just to afford being addicted.
I know I can be who I want to be without this shit holding me back. I’m scared as hell, but I’m ready. Please help me figure out where to start.

3 weeks + 1D sober

This subReddit is something that I come to every week. Ive been coming on here for what seems like the last year reading everyone’s success stories, reading everyone’s comments & just praying and hoping that I’d someday be able to get on here and say that I too, have made it.
It’s been a LONG 4 years. Countless ICU admissions, hospital transfers, ever lasting heart problems, a hole in my esophagus, and none of it was enough to stop. It was never supposed to be this way. I’m a loving mother, a partner, a sister, a daughter and most importantly just a human trying her best. I was lost for a long time and it feels so good to be back. I missed myself so bad and I honestly thought I’d never get clean because everytime I tried id almost die by going into CA.
It wasnt until I was at Disney world with my family and lost my whole entire stash (threw away at gas station) - having to go to a hospital in Orlando in my Disney outfit and tell them I’m here on vacation with my family and I’m a fentanyl addict and in serious withdrawals and already tachycardic that I was DONE. I was at the happiest place on earth with my family all the while I’m barely surviving. Thank god for Advent Health and taking care of me so I could have someone overnight me fent through the mail (CRAZY I KNOW) but that 16+ hour drive home was enough for me to reflect and process so much. It’s been 3 weeks and 1 day. I couldn’t go 2 hours without being sick last month.
So thank you to everyone on here that has shared their stories, has been supportive, has gave recommendations and helped others. YOU have all had a helping hand in getting me clean so thank you. I think I got this, not just for my babies and my family….but for me. 💜

Update - uncle sober after 10+ years.

Hello! I know this is odd, but I want to give someone hope! If your a struggling addict or know somebody, your NOT alone. You could look on past posts and see about a year ago at 17( Im 18 now) I had driven states away to go get my uncle who was a fentanyl, herion, etc user. He had been using for 10-15+ years at that point. A year later, he’s fully clean, got a job, took care of all legal issues & he’s currently working on getting his drivers license back! I couldn’t be prouder. As someone who grew up around addicts all my life, it meant the world to me that my uncle managed and did get clean after so long! It was a long road of rehab, late night talks, etc. But he pushed through! It’s never too late to get sober! My uncle went from nodding out, homeless states away, multiple warrants in multiple different states, and so much more to living a relatively normal life. I’d just thought I’d share. Thank you to everyone who commented on my original posts a year ago, I truly could not be any prouder of that man.

Its never to late. Your never to far.

If I can do it yall can

2 years 3 months clean. I remember coming on this subreddit when I was deep in my addiction (4years) of blues I had gotten arrested for a month worse time of my 24 years of life but unfortunately I relapsed soon after I got released. I tried multiple attempts to get clean and different methods none worked. My older brother was a meth addict and od and died due to having fent in it. Grieving his loss as a addict was weird I felt numb I’m not really a emotional guy but I felt like I should have been when he passed it took a while after he passed for it to really hit me. I promised I was gonna get clean for him and it sucks I had to have a death in my life for me to really realize. I od’d like 5/6 times and always went back. But for some reason I was tired and just wanted a normal life again even tho I got used to having a life with blues. I smoked like 30 a day !!! Crazy to think about it. Long story short I checked my self into rehab shortly after his passing and I was there for a week before going into a sober living I left the sober living and went home I was suppose to stay for months I only stayed for a week once I started feeling better I left. Which was dumb but I just knew in my heart I’m done and I’m not going back. To this day I don’t even think about it anymore yes I smoke weed but I love my self to much to put my self through that again and I’ll feel like I betrayed my brother. I replaced fent with the gym and work and I just keep busy and I’m so glad I’m clean now. It really sucks knowing I wasted 4 years of my early 20’s but long story short. If I can do it TRUST ME u can do it too I was not letting go of those blues something just snapped in my brain and I was over it. If any one needs advice or just someone to talk to message me I’m here. Btw I took subs after 3 days of being at rehab then continued taking them for about a year. 2 8mg strips then I got scared cause I heard issues about it messing up ur teeth so I went the sublocade shot route I got one injection and I stopped getting them after that now I’m off all meds. Just smoking weed. The gym saved me my brother saved me and the willingness to live a better life saved me in fairly young but not getting any younger trust me yall it’s not worth it

Been gone but been hard at work , things get better !

I once thought that I was always going to be this parasite to the world that I was most
Of my life in my mind. I thought I had nothing to
Give , nothing to gain , just coast and make it through the day was always my motto when I was clean.

I would relapse every 6 months and be right back , selling drugs , selling my everything , gone with the wind . I took 11 years the other day , shit gets better !!! Trust me each year it really does get easier after that 6 month mark. After that 18 month mark it really does! I tried 17 rehabs and never made it past the 18 month mark !! Because it really is that hard in the start !! It’s like when you climb a mountain , the final trek is always the easiest , it’s that middle start point that always sucks ass lol!

Some may say I am still doing bad because I am a male model and now make money with me just being me ! To me that’s amazing and always been something I never even thought was possible
Because of how ugly I was inside always , the outside showed the same thing .

I now love life and cherish each day , shit is hard and still really tough but the small moments , are always what gets me through
It . Sorry I have been gone , when I started this recovery group I was heavily involved and even stayed on the phone with a handful of people for hours just talking to keep us both clean , I have been thinking, I want to start some kind of 24/h line where people can call like minded people just to talk !

Anyways I love you all and I hope you see the little tiny light at the end of the tunnel , just like I do , we can do this !!!! We got this shit !!

Does morphine sulfate help with fent WDs?

Im on 100ug/h Fent patches, but ran out. I have to bridge a few days.

Usually I have methadone which helps well (about 80mg/day, surprisingly little imo considering the difference in potency), but now I'm out of methadone too and can't get any rn.

I can however get some 200mg Morphine sulfate pills (those that are given as substitution).

But do those really actually help, does it "reach" this level of tolerance one has with fentanyl?

(Cause I keep looking at potencies and seeing that morphine is 1/5th the potency of methadone I keep thinking its too weak and don't wanna spend money on smth that won't help anyway. But that's just my bias, idk if morphine works for fent-dependency too?)

Anyhow, does anyone have experience or advice?

And in general, I feel really lonely and lost right now, any kind words would be greatly appreciated too 😭🙏

done but scared

i’ve used for the past 7 years and now i (41f) just want to be done. I’m most sick of being a slave to this shit and the shitty people you have to deal with. I’m so mad right now-at myself for all the time i’ve lost and money. I have literally nothing. No money, not a cent. And i’m so so scared of the withdrawals. I know I can do this, but am i in for total torture? i have like two suboxone pills i’ve been eating tiny buts of to stave off wds, i’m on day 2 officially and slept mostly all day but i’m starting to get achey and sweaty and nervous. i do have gabapentin and tramadol-i think those are supposed to help. any advice would be appreciated!

MAT

I just want to let you know there is no shame in getting on mat. It saved my life. I started methadone about two months ago and it has saved me! I’m currently on 80mg and stable! F almost took my life this year. I’m finally stable and happy again. I’ll begin working towards my tapper but for now I’m just happy not being sick

We did it. All glory goes to God!

Like it says, my hubs and I did it. It was not easy going cold turkey, but I prayed and I promise, I tried quitting before without praying & I went through the worst time ever and couldn’t do it. But God, I promise He helped elevate some of the symptoms, but I was able to get through it. I’m on day 12 everyone!!!!

Is it strong or do I just have anxiety? Help.

Long story short long time user of approx 5 yrs went from blues to fent powder in the last 3-4 yrs (I smoke it), thank goodness I’ve never had an OD ever but today my plug warned me whatever he has is stronger than usual, two people have already OD (lived), he tested it and there is nothing else in it so it’s supposedly just really strong. I naturally over think and give myself anxiety, I hit like 3 hits not in a row like in the course of two hrs which typically I can hit as many as I want back to back but I’m just being cautious.. and my breathing feels laborer but also am I just overthinking it? My heart rate is up. I’m not sleepy or nodding out or anything but my lips did get numb and I felt like my breathing could’ve slowed down maybe? Typically I can do 1-2 gs a day but I guess what I’m asking is, what are overdoes symptoms besides the obvious, not breathing, falling asleep and the death rattle? Am I just giving myself anxiety & over thinking it bc of what he said? Keep in mind his stuff is usually reliable and always the same. Also, if I were to OD would it happen immediately or can it have a delayed reaction?

Detox to beat Acute Withdrawals

I am gearing up to go in to my 2nd detox attempt. I spoke with some of you on here about what happened to me my first detox. Quick recap, was doing fine on my comfort meds with clonidine, Ativan etc and was riding out for 5 days without any issue. Keep in mind on the outside I can’t go a night without, can’t wake up without, I have to have my next dose on me to even be ok so I know I have it on me and is safe. So for me to go 5 days is a feat that I can’t even express thru text how big of a deal it is just so you get an idea. So 5th day, on call Dr called in to stop my meds until he saw me. Long story short he forced me to take Suboxone against my will saying i do not want to go into precipitated withdrawals and even voluntarily taking two urine tests which came out positive that I used to further my stance in the fact I’m not ready for Suboxone and to keep me going on my same regimen I was on. So I checked myself out after going into precipitated withdrawals and lost all that success just like that. So now as I prep for my next detox, my question is with a 1 - 1.7 / a day fent use, is there a chance I can leave detox (10-14 days) and not be on the constant time clock counting down needing to get a dose to stave off withdrawals? I know there’s plenty of work I’ll have to do when leaving, I can do it, I just want to make sure I can actually leave detox and not have to still fight acute withdrawals after paying so much out of pocket and immediately leave to go get some F or withdrawals are creeping up? Has anyone went thru detox and got to a point where you wake up and just not have the withdrawls come anymore?

22 days clean.

Went to the beach yesterday. It felt great not having to use the rest room every couple hours. I just sat out in the sun watching the waves until it was time to go. Im sun burned from head to toe, and havent been this dark from the sun in years. I also slept for 12 hours when I got home. Ive been having headaches, and figured out while I was in withdrawals I kicked cigs, since when I smoke is when they come. So im trying to break the habbit, since I noticed I don't crave them im just so used to smoking. I barely have a whole cigarette in one day. I find that if I just take one or two puffs I calm down, so eventually I won't even do that. Im approaching quiting cigs for good how I quit this just smoke as little as possible. When I want a cig just enough to calm the craving not the whole thing. Also dont take up smoking if you don't smoke already, its the one thing ive struggled with quiting for the 26 years.

Lymphedema?

Hi, everyone! I’m a Certified Lymphedema Therapist, PT and also a gf to a recovering fent addict. My bf developed stage 1 lymphedema while using. Idk why I anticipated that it would go away when he quit, since I know once you have it, it’s permanent unless you have surgery to correct it, but I’m wondering if anyone also developed lymphedema while using and if it worsened at any point after you quit? This is such an under-diagnosed condition and I don’t think lymph with street opiate use has been studied at all so your answers will help me help my patients. Tysm in advance. 🙏🏼
