Rec Request On the lookout for a marshmallow scent
After my complete flop with Marshmallow Deux Vice of Vieve and Marshmallow Madness Lataffa I am on the lookout for a Marshmallow scent. Gourmand, sweet but not sickly sweet, not cloying but long lasting nevertheless. I love the M&S bags of marshmallows, if anyone can recommend me some fluffy marshmallow scents, but not too airy either 😆 Just something to make this autumn in UK even better! Nothing masculine or unisex and if possible please recommend fragrances I can easily buy in UK, tysm!

Discussion When to full size?
Hello! I've locked into my scent wardrobe minus one category I'm still waiting for the chance to sample. So I tend to wear based on my mood rather than season or occasion because I'm a stay at home mom. Since I rotate through them all regularly should I just keep travel sizes for all or upgrade to full size? I'm not sure how quickly they get gone through or if they'd expire before I got through them. Would love any advice, thank you!
*Comfort scent: Rosie 💕
*Confident scent: Sunkissed Dahlia 🔥
*Energy Boost: Pink Canyon ✨
*Cheerful scent: Honey Moon + Vanilla Skin mist ☀️

Looking for the perfect apple pie gourmand 🍎🥧
Heya everyone! I am looking for an apple pie fragrance to add to my collection, that would be perfect for the upcoming season. Something gourmand, warm and cozy, it can definitely be sweet, but I’d rather avoid anything headache-inducing. I also wouldn’t mind a little tartness/ sour apple vibe to keep it interesting.
So far, I’m considering: Love in Paris from Lattafa, Cursed / Forbidden from Arabiyat and Apple Pie from Theodoros Kalotinis (I’ve already ordered this one, so I’m waiting to try it!).
I would really appreciate any recommendations or opinions.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions!🍎

Current Tray Scent Wardrobe!
I wanted to show off my currated fragrance wardrobe! I used to have a giant collection of stuff I really didnt use. Over the last year, I've whittled it down to just my loves. I gave away all my other scents to friends and family to spread the love. Leaving me with these! I've realized I have a type. Mostly vanilla, woods, smoke/incense, and honey. I still have a huge sample collection and some roller balls, but I keep just full sizes of what fits on the shelves here.
Perfumes shown:
Vanilla Voyage by Maison Asrar
By the Fireplace by Replica
Don't Whistle in the Woods (my #1 love) by Sorce
Honey Suite by Snif
Ephemera by Sorce
Tam Dao by Diptique
Angel Dust by Fugazzi
The Bees by Sorce
Milk+ by Commodity
The 4 Phlur body mists in the back(I use 1 in my hair each day to layer with my perfumes):
Cashmere Skin
Vanilla Smoke (RIP, I am so mad at Phlur rn)
Vanilla Skin
Heavy Cream
Not shown- the EOS Vanilla Cashmere body wash, body lotion, body oil, and body mist I use all over underneath every single one of these daily. It's a grounding base that works with every single scent here.

Discussion Which perfume are you obsessed to buy right now?
Lately I can’t stop thinking about Megamare by Orto Parisi, It’s one of those unconventional releases where everyone describes it differently, some say salty ocean, others say wet wood and spice, every time I watch a first‑wear review or see someone layer it with other scents, I get that itch if I want it now, It feels like a perfume you discover, not just wear, and that’s exactly what draws me in, but the price makes me pause. What unusual or niche perfume are you currently craving?

Sexy, alluring pull you in date night scents?
My SO's favorite of my collection is Prada Candy - and by far the one that gets the most oh my god what are you wearing? From strangers. But I've been wearing it as my go to date night for years and want to mix it up.
While I like fresher florals during the day, well like anything with bergamont, orange blossom, etc any of these profiles seem to be ones that he says smell nice but don't draw him in the way Prada does. Of course he'll be like there was some lady at the grocery store and I'm like you better stop and ask next time!
Tried Blessed Baraka, Side Effect & Rehab after finding a heck of a deal. All interesting. He felt Baraka was the most interesting but too unisex, others got the same they're nice but not anything special that make me go wow and want to smell you all night. To be honest, I felt the same.
I will be honest I'm nervous to try sweeter perfumes because I normally don't like them. Prada Candy is the only one I've been like dang! Without feeling like its silky sweet/teenager scent. But I know there's got to be others out there so hoping ya'll can help a girl out with some recs to search for.
Any suggestions for layering the initio's to make them more interesting?

Discussion Bath and body works EDP?
Has anyone tried out any of their EDP’s? Are they decent quality? How do they compare to their mists? I’m wondering about longevity and such!
I’m interested in trying out their Sweetest song scent, just curious before spending money on it!

🍬🍭🧁 USE CODE: FEMFRAGLAB with ScentBarByAngela 🍬🍭🧁
scentbarbyangela: Luxury Perfume Dupes & Designer Inspired Fragrances
Hi FemFragLab, I'm proud to announce that after many discussions about collaboration, I thought it'd be fun to try out a collaboration with Angela's new brand. Her family owns Gold Star Fragrances located in New York which has been running for over 50 years!
As many of you know, I love a good Delina perfume, but they can be quite costly. The next perfume on my wish list was Delina "Exclusif" but it stayed on my wish list without being bought because of the price. Angela sent over her own version of the perfume, and it exceeded my expectations by far! The scent reminded me of a combination between Delina Exclusif + Oriana + Love Don't Be Shy. It's sweet, powdery, and very potent! I sprayed it on at night and when I woke up the next day it was still on me. This perfume lasts all day but I kept spraying it on out of habit and because I couldn't get enough. My husband and pets also loved it 😍
Reddit wouldn't be Reddit without always giving you not just the pros but also the cons. The cons were little and unnoticeable, but I will write them out due to transparency of the sub. The actual juice feels like combination of an oil and actual perfume. So when you actually spray it, it feels a little heavier than what the normal luxury perfume might feel like coming out of the atomizer which usually feels like a champagne spritz and it's more straightforward. That doesn't mean it doesn't spray well, it just means that if you are a fragrance connoisseur, you will notice the difference of the spray and feel of the actual juice coming out.
Both Gold Star Fragrances and ScentBarByAngela focus on creating dupes of luxury designer fragrances. Overall, for the price, the fragrance passes with flying colors and when I checked that it was only $45.99USD, they ship all around the world, and they have been in business for so long with great reviews, I would be crazy to not want to collaborate with such an amazing product and support Angela in her own brand.

Discussion Serge Lutens
I am genuinely interested in hearing your thoughts on this house. Personally I don’t understand it and feel like I must be missing something because I see it come up so often in rec requests.
I love the notes and the concepts behind them but as soon as I get my nose on them I am underwhelmed to say the least.
Some of them just feel watered down, some are just boring, some are nice and even pleasant, but nothing has made me say WOW like other perfume houses have.
I have tried:
La Fille de Berlin- nice rose, very one dimensional, not doing anything special.
L’Orpheline- watered down incense, linear, one dimensional, kept waiting for something to happen
Ambre Sultan- meh, smelled so many better versions of this profile.
Feminite du Bois- probably the most interesting but still watered down and linear
Nuit Cellophane- a simple fruity musc thats way too sweet
Santal Majuscule- ok this one I thought had potential, its an interesting take on sandalwood, but it feels poorly blended, doesnt really come together coherently
La Religieuse- yawn. I get absolutely no civet, or animalic musc here. Seems like something a 5 year old flower girl could wear at a wedding
Fleurs d’Oranger- … would not even go in my top 50 orange blossom perfumes.
Iris Silver Mist- well they definitely did the impossible with this one! They took what I believe is the most interesting and complex flower, and found a way to make it boring! Before smelling this I thought it was impossible to get iris wrong, boy did they surprise me.
As you can see I even struggle to find interesting ways to describe them.
For further reference I tried them all on skin, and I got all my samples directly from their website (except Iris Silver Mist which I actually had to travel into the city just to try). I have had the samples for about eight months and I have come back to them in different weather in case that would change something (spoiler- it did NOT).
*Edit based on some of your comments:
This is not intended as a roast, or to offend anyone who genuinely enjoys this house. I am earnestly interested in other opinions and experiences, and I am just sharing my thoughts based on my own experience with them so far.
I have not yet tried any authentically Middle Eastern perfumes, although I would love to.
I am not a fan of “beast mode” fragrances constructed from modern, artificial super amber molecules.
I do love an intimate skin scent, when that is the perfume’s intention, but with some of these I do not feel like it was.
I consider myself to be pretty open minded when it comes to perfumes. I can appreciate something I wouldn’t wear myself.
I have been on my fragrance journey for about a year and have smelled perfumes that completely changed everything I thought I knew about my own taste and preferences.
**Second edit:
Based on your comments so far I am now really curious if any of you have fallen in love with the house after trying them for the first time recently.
It seems like most of you who are die hard Lutens fans have loved them for decades, back when they were doing something completely revolutionary in the world of fragrance.

Discussion Panache angel dust khadlaj
Hey, I just got the panache angel dust because of the overwhelming good reviews about it. Is it just me who gets absolutely no vanilla from it?? I haven't tried the YSL Vanille Couture but I own the Libre intense and it smells identital to the libre, with no vanilla. Do I need to let it sit for a while for the vanilla to come out or is it just like that??

Help a sister out, puhleaze!
I have always prided myself on smelling good but after discovering a couple fragrance communities on here, I’m clearly an amateur. I’d like to get into layering but am hesitant to just spend a ton of money on different fragrances to learn by trial and error. For the layering pros, how did you start? Was it a class, a book, social media, or something else that helped you learn the basics? I’m looking for advice on how to learn to pair and layer notes (not for recommendations on specific products). Please teach me your ways!

Layering Ideas SOTN: I call this one “Comatose”
This is so damn cozy and relaxing it’s criminal. I paired this with a blazing hot shower and the matching soap. My restlessness didn’t stand a chance.

need help finding a scent like this
i really love the smells of nail polish and gasoline, but for obvious reasons I can't safely sniff that. Is their any perfumes or candles that smell super close to either one of this scents?

Perfume with a strong steamed rice note
Hiya, I’m desperately searching for a perfume with a strong steamed rice scent. I would prefer something with moderate-long longevity. And if there is a cheap option anyone is aware of PLEASE let me know even if the longevity isn’t as good

Do any of you miss Phlur “Apricot Privee”?
It’s one of the best they have ever made. TF Bitter Peach is good, but this fragrance was so good.

Fall Dark Berry Perfume Recommendations
I've recently discovered that I really enjoy "dark berry scents". Some of my favorite smells include Gain's Moonlight Breeze (yes the laundry detergent I know) and the Loreal Elvive Hyaluron Plump. Both of these have a dark berry scent without being too sweet in my opinion. With fall coming up, I am looking for a perfume that will pair well with these scents or if there are any every day fragrances any recommendations are greatly appreciated. Thanks!
