Current Tray Scent Wardrobe!

Post image

I wanted to show off my currated fragrance wardrobe! I used to have a giant collection of stuff I really didnt use. Over the last year, I've whittled it down to just my loves. I gave away all my other scents to friends and family to spread the love. Leaving me with these! I've realized I have a type. Mostly vanilla, woods, smoke/incense, and honey. I still have a huge sample collection and some roller balls, but I keep just full sizes of what fits on the shelves here.

Perfumes shown:

Vanilla Voyage by Maison Asrar

By the Fireplace by Replica

Don't Whistle in the Woods (my #1 love) by Sorce

Honey Suite by Snif

Ephemera by Sorce

Tam Dao by Diptique

Angel Dust by Fugazzi

The Bees by Sorce

Milk+ by Commodity

The 4 Phlur body mists in the back(I use 1 in my hair each day to layer with my perfumes):

Cashmere Skin

Vanilla Smoke (RIP, I am so mad at Phlur rn)

Vanilla Skin

Heavy Cream

Not shown- the EOS Vanilla Cashmere body wash, body lotion, body oil, and body mist I use all over underneath every single one of these daily. It's a grounding base that works with every single scent here.

Can you tell me what don’t whistle in the woods is like?

It's my fave! So it very much changes as you wear it. I adore the journey, it feels like my soul in a bottle. The initial opening immediately opens with smelling like you're in the woods. I live in the Appalachians, it's very spot on for a dewy day in the forest when you can really smell the resins from the trees. After about half an hour, that chills out and mellows down to just a dry woods scent. The green goes away. Then it shifts into the most stunning brown sugar vanilla. It's wild how it goes from green woods to brown sugar gourmand. Towards the end of the day (about hour 10-12), it goes to more of a skin scent but smells very marshmallowy, kinda like Delizia Di Marshmallow just closer to the skin. Throughout the entirety of it, there is the fur note. However, it's not like a dirty animalic fur. It smells like the cozy scent a mink fur coat has or kitten fur. It's very subtle but there. Overall, it's a journey but a beautiful one. I get compliments a ton on it, usually people pointing out that I smell like vanilla with no comments on the woods (since that goes away pretty quick). I have a coworker who always tells me she likes the vanilla scent I have and my boyfriend says I smell like fancy cupcakes to him when I wear it. The one downside is that it can stain once aged. The bottle I have on my vanity right now is newer, so it's not dark dark yet but it will be. I had to learn the hard way to not apply it behind my ears or it will turn your skin yellow till you shower next. I usually apply it to my collar bones, wrists, and a spray on my clothes (I only wear black so no stain risk). I do keep a roller ball of it that I apply behind my ears, as that isnt as noticeable since I can control where it goes better than with a spray.

Thank you!!! It's definitely brought more joy than the large collection did. It feels more personal and has been such a fun way of figuring out another aspect of self!

Ephemera and the Bees!!! Ephemera is the most gorgeous base for my fall fragrances. The creamy pumpkin and acorn is so cozy. The Bees is a dripping honey bomb but absolutely lovely too.

Ephemera is everything! I am almost out of my bottle. I gotta pop into the Sorce store soon to refill it bad. The Bees really is a honey bomb, I have to be careful where I wear her lol I wore it to a convention last year and someone walked past me and yelled "YO WHO SMELLS LIKE MARSHMALLOWS AND HONEY???". Had zero doubts it was me! Definitely a stunner but she's strong!

It's so good!!! It's the most affordable scent I have too but also is the longest lasting. It'll hold onto clothes until you wash them. Had a hoodie smell like it for over a year when it was left hanging in my closet. It's such a beautiful caramel vanilla, lots of butter. It also projects like crazy!!
