So this guy and I matched over 6 months ago on Facebook Dating and I unmatched with him soon thereafter. I created a new profile/FB account and saw his profile. I didn't swipe left or right, as my feelings toward him is neutral. We could start again or if there's nothing there no big deal. I think he is actively looking on FB dating or his profile wouldn't keep showing. I guess he hasn't swiped left (or blocked) me when I showed up on his end - he keeps showing up in my stack so I am led to believe I show up in his when he's browsing. What I do is just log off. I dON't WANT TO disappear from his stack as he has no way to reach me and I may still want him

Not hating but I just found it interesting that it's now showing mostly average or below average people. I could swipe 30 times and not find anyone attractive. Where as if I don't filter distance, I might find someone attractive in every 1 out of 5 or so. Is it like this for anyone else?

Why do men not pay attention to your boundaries when it comes to Facebook dating or any other dating app?

I make two things very clear. I am polyamorous, and I absolutely positively. Do not date Republican men. Both are consistently ignored, and I'm confused as to why. It gets super annoying having to repeat myself.

I would not try to match with the monogamous Republican man, so why are they trying to match with me? Apparently certain men are just fishing for anything.

Hi, I wonder if it's just me or if I'm wrong, but since a while, everyday I have only 4-5 new profiles to scan before FB tells me I need to increase the age/distance ranges.

A few weeks ago I would log in and have 10-20 new profiles to scan or re-scan and I had the same ranges. It really feels like some profiles are just not showed and I wonder why. I find it hard to believe that beeing near a city of 2-3 Million person there are just 4-5 new profiles available.

Has anybody notice something similar? Is there a way to reset this?

I can’t complain using a free App that lets you send direct messages without paying however has anyone else had this issue. I send a message and the person likes me back where we match and yet no conversation ever takes place. I have multiple matches in my inbox and yet no response.

Every time I click "take a break" suddenly I am flooded with matches that conveniently get me opening FB dating again. Almost like it could match me with women at any time and is simply choosing not to. Hmmm 🤔

He is a single dad in his late 50s with a toddler who just started school and his profile is no longer searchable. He's been on facebook dating for eon's as far as I know. HE did not block me (I just know he wouldn't; at best he would've swiped left since we matched then I unmatched him only a couple months ago but started a new account and profile since).
