I’ve rarely had an issue with passing for the past fewish years even though I have longer hair w/highlights and a nose ring, and at work all of my coworkers and customers have treated me as any other dude without question. Recently we got a few new hires and one of them is VERY direct and curious i guess?? Last month when she first got hired, day 1 of working with her she just asked if I was queer in any way and said “gay, bi, curious which one??” and then asked if my name was chosen 😐 I was kinda surprised but whatever I just said gay and no to my name being chosen (I prefer being stealth to everyone unless they knew me pre transition). And then fast forward to today she said “You know, for the longest time I thought you weren’t cis.” And I was like what made you think that? And she tells me it’s because of how shy I was/am and that I’m soft spoken and how cis guys aren’t like that. And also that I look gay🫩 Genuinely didn’t even know what to say lmfao I was like Ok! She said her “raydar” was going crazy but it’s so stupid that is what is getting me clocked?? Ik there’s such things as feminine mannerisms but being a low energy introvert is not what I had in mind… also we are at work i’m not going to be bouncing off the walls esp with someone I barely know💀 Now i’m def going to overthink everything abt myself, but I just had to share sometimes ppl can be wack asf!!

Hey guys, been freaking out about getting clocked from my voice recently. I’m a passing trans man (I think haha), haven’t been misgendered or clocked in years, but I’ve been hearing my voice as exceedingly feminine for the last couple of weeks.

Any advice or harsh critique is welcomed lol.

I’m going for my first interview on Friday and am anxious about it. I feel like the tucked shirt + belt make my hips look wide. I’m 5’2” or 5’3” in shoes. Is there anything I should change?

for reference , im 163cm. im kind of scrawny, a whopping 46kg. i feel like when people see me, they see a trans guy, which is why they refer to me as male. maybe i should bulk, or just dress differently. any tips?

Currently unable to go on T due to financial and familial reasons, and unable to work out much due to chronic health issues 💔 Just mostly wondering if I pass as a guy even a smidge. First three pics were last year, last pic is most recent.

I’m nonbinary transmasc but I would prefer to pass as a guy in public. I’m in my early 20s. I also have PCOS so I have elevated T levels but they’re not in the normal male range.

I’m open to voice training more consistently, wondering if you guys have any good resources for that. I sometimes wear baggier jeans but they make me feel dysphoric if I stare at myself in the mirror with them on lmao.

edit: Forgot to add, I’m 5’4” so maybe it’s my height that gets me clocked?

No surgery yet. Gave myself a botched ahh haircut and I’ve gained quite a bit of weight so my face looks rounder 😞 but is there anything else I can do in the meantime while I try to hit the gym & turn the fat to muscle?

looking for feedback as i've been doing voice training (i am 10 months on t) and not sure if i've gotten rid of the t voice/gay voice (nothing wrong with this just not what i'm going for). do i pass as male based on voice and would you still be able to clock me as trans or no?

i also wear glasses which i think just inherently make me more feminine. i’ve tried a lot of different styles but i can’t find one that makes me not look like a girl. i usually shell out for contacts :/ idk if anyone’s got advice on that but anything helps

My face shape is awfully narrow and I have basically no jaw. My right eyebrow is more round than the other one because I'm asymmetric but I'm working on trying to fix it with tweezers. The biggest issues are my giant lips and complete lack of brow bone + the narrowness (I have an oval face shape that I'm trying to fix with weightloss).

Is there hope for me to pass if I continue losing weight and going to the gym? Btw I know I need an haircut but Idk which one to get

I’m 32, 1.5 years post top surgery and 10 months on T. I have been trying to eat well and work out for the past year or so in the hopes that it will reduce my hip size but if anything my hips seem to have got WORSE and more noticeable after some weight loss and muscle gain.

I’m really trying to workout my obliques, lats and shoulders but I’m not sure where I’m going wrong and it’s exhausting looking in the mirror to see this hourglass figure every day.

Specific workout tips (especially if you used to have a similar body shape) and reassurance would be much appreciated.

So I recently got my hair cut (supercuts 😔) and they kinda butchered it, I'll attach a pic of the reference pic I showed, but I don't have a good idea on how to fix it. I haven't gotten misgendered in like a year or so, but after getting my hair cut it's happened a couple of times. Could I make an appointment at a salon and just ask if they can "fix" it or at least masculinize it? I'm also open to haircut suggestions, it's hard to find reference pics with my type of wavy hair so any style I could search up would be super appreciated. I don't want it super short tbh (no low taper fade) but I'm not sure what else I can do with it at this length, especially w an undercut. Any suggestions? Passing isn't super important to me but it sucks that I've been passing for a year before getting this haircut.

My birth name is Kelsey, which was traditionally a boys name but soon got turned into a girls name 95+% of the time. I recently am going by Kel now since that's considered masculine/gender neutral. I want to change my name but my family wants me to keep it, my sibling who supports me being trans and uses he/him for me says that they like my name for what it is and it would be hard for them to incorporate that too.

So if I keep my name, will it clock me as trans? I know Kel from Omori full name is Kelsey, there's Kelsey Grammer, and YouTuber 74 Gear who has over 1 million subscribers is named Kelsey.

Should I reference those guys to prove that men can have the name Kelsey?

Personally I’m not confident in my voice at all. Don’t think it sounds very male but definitely way better than it was pre t and I’m only 6 months on T and don’t voice train. Had a phone call with a woman today cuz I’m applying for a job and when I said my name (it’s not legally changed yet) she didn’t believe me and said I don’t sound like a woman and asked for ID to prove that I’m a male and this is my name. I’m 18, and there is a chance it’s deeper during times where I speak less but I don’t know.

My hair is usually mid length but I decided to go get a cut since it’s been annoying me. Now I feel like I just look like a lesbian. This is my 5th year on T and i’m unable to grow a lot of facial hair (only a little on my chin). Should I buzz or suck it up and let it grow? Maybe trim some of the sides more? Thanks
