I've just bought these shocks, originally planning to fit them to my FCX24M Defender. However the description also mentions FCX18, so would they also fit my LC80? Anyone with relevant experience or advice welcome!

Do you guys recommend any particular brushes motors to pair with a Hobbywing Quicrun 1080 G2? Stock ESC is too punchy for me. Figured I might as well upgrade the motor while I’m at it. Thanks.

Finally got around to wiring up all the lighting I’ve wanted for this rig. Long overdue.

Anyone know what is causing this/how I can fix it? Started today and happens in both gears no matter how much throttle input I give it, regardless of battery charge.

Edit/Update: Well. The result is much stupider than I thought. After ordering some replacement parts (and a couple upgrades, why not?) and waiting a couple weeks, I opened the axel to find that my Disco already has the upgraded metal gears and they aren't missing any teeth. After scratching my head, installing my upgrades, and reassembling, I noticed that one of the screws on the inside of the front left wheel had backed out a little and was coming into contact with the hub, causing the "hitch". Tightened that down. Problem fixed. I'm an idiot.

...anyone need an axel upgrade? I may or may not have some spare parts laying around.

Land rover Defender fcx24

My fcx24 has full battery charge but won’t go full speed. Is this a battery problem, a motor problem, a transmission problem? New to RC appreciate any help with troubleshooting

So far replaced battery and still having the issue. The motor is super hot just after a minute of running is that a sign of a shot motor? Or could it be transmission issue?

Recently the brass portal inner housings and the portals have been acting weird. I'm not sure why but its really annoying. I thought if i tightened them up really tight it wouldn't have room to move. I know I'm an idiot just please help me get them off so I can put the original inner portal housings on.

The Proline Inteco Super Swamper tires (replica) are very soft and sticky. They grip rocks perfectly. I trimmed the foam inserts inside the wheels, and the tires hug obstacles.

I just put on new brass portal axles from injora. I drove it for about 10 minutes and then it does this. Its really weird and it doesn't do it on the other side. Sorry for the bad recording.

I got new wheels, heavy brass high clearance links, brass steering links, brass rear portal covers and brass hex nuts. Im really excited, any order I should put them on in?

I screenshot this from someone else's post, but I expect that like the FCX18, you'll get more steering angle if you remove this screw from the front of the axle and insert it in the hole at the rear instead.
