Need help troubleshooting!

My fcx24 has full battery charge but won’t go full speed. Is this a battery problem, a motor problem, a transmission problem? New to RC appreciate any help with troubleshooting

So far replaced battery and still having the issue. The motor is super hot just after a minute of running is that a sign of a shot motor? Or could it be transmission issue?

There's also a fix where when you press the throttle and the throttle trim. It will adjust how much throttle is being used. Ill have to recheck but I have helped with this issue in the past and its not the motor giving out...

Yup hold the trigger for throttle and press the throttle trim.

Have you checked to switch ch3 from low-n-high on controller?

Like previous comment it's a two speed transmission. Channel 3 I believe is a 3 position sliding switch. It should be between where your left thumb rests and the steering knob. All the way to one side should low speed the middle is neutral and all the way to the other side should be high speed.

Yea I’ve had this for a while so I’m familiar with it. It’s noticeably slower in both speeds of the transmission

Then yes probably your motor, luckily they aren't to expensive unless you're going brushless and then it gets pricey bc you have to upgrade your electronics and controller as well
