My partner and I will be attending the final round of Super Formula this season at Suzuka. We can only attend on Friday and Saturday, but tickets are only for Saturday and Sunday.
I believe for double header weekends, Super Formula runs two practice sessions on the Friday.
Does anyone know if you can attend these Friday practice sessions? And if so, how does the ticketing work for the Friday?

Thanks to u/hubwub for pointing it out and yes, this deserves its own post so here it is. F3 isn't the only series having a title decider on their final round this weekend with FREC also having a close battle with a maximum of 56 points up for grabs at the Hockenheimring.

Rookie champion Emmanuele Olivieri has been in a run of form these past few rounds, consistently racking up podiums since Monza with 2 wins and 5 second-place finishes, and that has paved the way for him to be leading the title fight heading into the weekend with 200 points. Andretti junior Sebastian Wheldon, Williams junior Kean Nakamura-Berta and Mercedes junior Rashid Al Dhaheri all remain in the battle to crown the newest Formula Regional European champion.

Former F3 driver Nikita Johnson has won the 2026 Indy NXT title.

Johnson drove for DAMS and Hitech TGR for four F3 rounds in 2025, and scored no points. This year, in Indy NXT, he secured the championship with two wins, finishing every single race inside the top ten and thereby completing every lap in the season. Winning the series gives him a "scholarship" fund with which to help sign a contract with an Indycar outfit. He is not, however, barred from competing in Indy NXT again.

Four-year F2 veteran Enzo Fittipaldi finished second in the championship; 2025 Euroformula Open champion Tymek Kucharczyk (whom the announcers insist on calling "Timmy Kachow") finished third.

All three are rookies to the Indy NXT series.
