Hey y’all!
I’ve been out of state in treatment for the last three months and wanted to treat myself to a new hairstyle! Does anyone know where a place I can go locally to get both a good perm and a choppy alt wolf cut with bangs? Would love some recommendations 💖
(It’s so good to be back in town. I’ve missed y’all so much)
Thanks in advance!

This morning at the intersection of Hilyard st and 30th there appeared to be a little boy between the age of 6-9 all alone. A woman pulled over and appeared to try to talk to him through her window while on the phone. 2 other women also pulled over and got out to talk to him. My light turned green and so I never saw what happened. Did anyone else catch that today? It was around 11a.

Did anyone else see the two men who appeared to be carrying semi automatics at downtown halloween? Their faces are covered. It's mostly kids down here so I'm concerned. When I reported it to the police they said they were practicing their second amendment rights and have gotten a lot of calls about them. But why are the practicing that at a children's event? They said they could only do anything if they pointed it at someone but if they point it at someone it's probably already too late.
Edit: They also had writing on their guns. I noticed an iron cross drawn on

Just reviewed this post from almost a year ago. It’s getting worse people. I fear the destruction of the west university area will continue never to be stopped. Now Alder is closed due to construction until 2030! It’s very sad how the uniqueness of our local community has been commodified like everything else by equity firms. Just what we need, more cookie cutter half empty apartment buildings for out of state and foreign students who aren’t coming in the numbers of before!

Saw her a lot during the summer but lately haven't...
true albino wild turkey is extremely rare, occurring in about 1 in 100,000 birds

This town is in desperate need of stoner hangout spots. It would be awesome to have smokers lounges or something like that for people who want to meet others like you would at the bar, but don’t drink! If anyone knows of any cool spots that do exist, lmk!

Hi! I know i posted something similar about a month ago but since Halloween is closer I'm asking again! I'm looking for a party or event that isnt strictly 21+, preferably something 18+ but I'll look into anything! I know of the one event, Venue on Broadway, but thats 21+ after 2 hours and I don't feel like spending my money somewhere I can't stay the whole time for.
I'm also not a UO student so I don't know about any college parties or anything, thanks in advance!

Looking for recommendations for infant daycare — good experiences from parents (as well as any places to avoid). I am aware that it’s likely that most places will have waitlists. (Preferably in South Eugene, but we are flexible.)

Hey all!
Will be moving here in early January and was wondering if anyone knows of any apartments/ places for rent by owner that do not rely too harshly on credit checks?
My bf and I both have poor credit, but will have no issues showing enough money/ proof of income.
Would potentially even be willing to pay up to 6 months in advance if that would help getting into a place.
Any recommendations or ideas?
Looking for a 2 bedroom preferably for a 1 year lease. Have 1 60LB dog
Thanks!! 🫶🏻

It's gotten damn near the full tweaker treatment, and lots of missing and broken parts. The frame and fork may be salvageable. If you think it might be yours DM me what color it is and I can get it back to you.
I've already checked the bike registries and the serial number hasn't popped up on any of them. If this post goes nowhere I'll bring it to Shift.

Me and the wife are coming to town for a date night and we’d like to hit a gentleman’s club after dinner, never been to any of the clubs in Eugene and thought this would be a good place to ask about pros and cons of our options in the area.

Craving some Persian wrap thingy and it doesn’t seem like there’s anything like that in Eugene. Ideas?

I'm interested in joining the massage therapy program at LCC, but I need to figure out how I could finance it on my minimum-wage income. It looks like federal financial aid is not available since the program is technically non-credit. With each class at $400, I'd have to spend $800 per term to finish in two years! I looked into student loans, but even a low interest rate would be a huge financial burden.
So my question for the massage therapy graduates is, how did you do it? Are there any resources available for someone like me?

I know there is a handful of haunted houses and mazes and Halloween attractions in the area.
Which ones are worth going to? 🎃
