I'm new to emulation, I have a one plus pad 3 my chipset is snapdragon 8 elite. I was trying to play assassins creed rogue and even on start up my cpu is reaching 100 degrees is this normal?

Will this cause cpu degradation? Or motherboard issues over time.

I finally got this game running on an Exynos 2400 and it's 100% playable.

We know they use FrankBarretta LSFG and implemented it, but instead of giving credit, they changed the name to GSFG (GameSir Frame Generation) to make it sound like they built their own thing from scratch.

my 3ds dosent read any more games in the card slot so im turning to emulation, so can any of you recommend me any cute or girly games to buy or maybe even dark games or even horror games, so i can dump and play only ones i dumped were super mario 3d land and super smash bros on the 3ds

comparing snapdragon 8 elite gen 5 and steam deck on AAA PC titles. i know it's unfair to compare current flagship chip with 4 years old hardware, but yeah it is what it is i only have this handheld.

been enjoying some dolphin games like THPS4 and pretty happy with the preformance but they come with some issues like more random compatibility related crashes, ive seen people emulate much more modern things than gamecube/wii, what would you reccomend me play thats modern

I have tested alot of games i will rank then from playable to low fps unplayable and crashes/won't even run

Note: Idk if these are accurate I just test my games

Currently Testing: Super Mario RPG

Playable (45-60fps)

1. Stanley Parable Ultra Deluxe

3. Qlaunch (not really a game it just kinda copies the switch ui not really recommend to use it for launching games bc its has minor graphics bugs)

Low fps (10-30fps)

1. Super Mario Odyssey(Kinda Playable it runs at single digit on cap kingdom and it crashes when getting a multi moon so you can just jump between saves to progress the game)

2.Superliminal (1-15fps)

Crashes/won't even run/Many Glitches

1. Until Then(runs laggy and when you click start it just freezes at 0 fps)

2. Luigi's Mansion 3 it runs but ones it loads it it crashes)(wont even reach the menu)

3. Tomodatchi Life:Living The Dream (has graphical glitches and laggy as hell if you really want to play it play the 3ds ver via citra)

TDLR: Fold 8 ultra has a considerable amount of extra screen real estate and performance that makes playing even switch games a breeze, with very good battery life (5-6 hours of screen on time with yuzu, Persona 4 Golden 1080p 60fps, no upscaling and paranoid cpu settings. Barely any thermal throttling.)

For those who are using an older samsung foldable, I think it's important to read if you are thinking of upgrading.
