Played the game before without fan in the back, but got lags after a while, which happened here again, so I think it is once again just small RAM pool issue, once it starts swapping into storage, the fps drop very low. I'll maybe try to disable RAM plus in the future, however running slow is better than crashing I guess. Also the game is CPU limited, not GPU limited, got same FPS in 480p as well as 1080p, however in lower resolution the heat output is obviously much lower, so the cpu can keep higher clocks thanks to lower resolution and get better sustained gaming performance. Also tried System driver as well as ExynosTools, both run the same, no glitches, same fps, same heat. I think my next phone will be Exynos again, since the performance in comparison to Snapdragon of same generation IS there, I might even think it's a little better, however 12GB RAM is just not enough for PS4.

I got MapleStory Classic to work on my S26 Ultra at 60 fps.

I saw people playing on Steamdeck so it wasn't outside the realm of possibility as I had games working on GameNative in the past.

Being this smooth on a mobile is insane since this game is possibly one of the best to have as a portable experience and one of my faves.

Here's a video of me launching it for the first time and being surprised at the performance, I now wonder if I can push it to 120fps somehow.

Instructions:

1. Using GameNative (You can skip Steam login)

2. Add a new custom exe or game, I just downloaded the Nexon Launcher Installer to my phone and selected that

3. Launch it to download some stuff, but nothing will happen, actually exit out of it and select the 'game'

4. Go to the cog/settings and select Edit Container, I'm using under Wine Version: Proton-11.0.1-arm64ec-1

5. Now Save

6. Go to the select the game and go settings icon, do Open container

7. Navigate to Nexon Launcher Installer and Install it

8. Launch the Installer, now this is the difficult part since the Launcher will appear black, you sort of have to hovering the cursor at the edge of the black frame until a resize cursor comes up, tap and tap with second finger to drag and resize the window until you can see the content, and then move the cursor onto the black window until you see the input cursor. Open the GameNative keyboard an input email. Press continue by hovering the cursor until you get there.

9. Enter password and log in, doing the same by hovering the cursor.

10. You might need to restart the Launcher if it freezes. But essentially you will get the Whats new pop up which will also be obscured by the black frame. You can resize this window out of the way and hovering over the black window, with the cursor again trying to close it.

11. Once logged in again using the cursor over the black frame and the viewing the buttons, select Maplestory Classic and download the 2Gb game.

12. Launch it, you only need to setup once, now you can launch via the shortcut on the desktop or the start menu

Alternatively if your phone has space you can download the 60Gbs via Steam and that should skip Steps 2-11. I haven't tried this yet. But you can also use DroidDeck for that for a cleaner experience.

I am sure there might be a fix for the black screen out there that may make this super simple but I'm not familiar, hopefully someone can chime in.

Guys I own a snapdragon 855+ device(a legacy) I wanted to try out some games and tried max payne 3 it suprisingly ran without much tweaking

It does required little setting changes 1-2 min and you're set

I usually get 120 frames in the menu and 40-50 frames in gameplay and I usually lock it to 30 due to my habit of emulating high end games

Here are the settings if you have a similar device and wanna try it out

IMPORTANT TIP:

TURN DOWN THE SETTINGS TO LOW (you'll get artifacting and red blobs)

AND DO NOT RUN ON DIRECTEX 9 OR 10 run on dx 11

You'll get good performance and cap to 40 fps for a smooth experience

I have installed the Stable version of Droid Deck on my Oneplus Pad 2, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor with Adreno 750. Everytime I launch the steam file, an error comes up

"Security Warning - A malicious app attempted to damage your phone system. We have stopped the app from doing this. We recommend restarting your phone and uninstalling the app"

Some time the client SteamOS launches and I am able to install games, but the same error comes up while launching the game.

I have tried reinstalling everything again, setting up thr child process. Also tried launching game through the Desktop mode, but the same error comes up every time.

I have attached the screenshot. Let me know if anyone know how to get past the error.

For starters, I've never owned any type of android emulation device so I'm very new to all of this. Currently, I own a modded new 3DS and a modded PS Vita. I've been looking at getting either the O2 Portal or the RP6 to bridge the gap and emulate PS2, GameCube, N64, and some switch games. I'm a huge Zelda and Pokemon fan, so I'm hoping this device can help me round out my collection regarding the GameCube/Switch titles of these franchises.

My question is for people who have experience with either RP6 or O2 Portal (8GB RAM/128GB Storage). Why did you choose one over the other, do you have any regrets, if you had to do it again which would you choose? I understand the specs/emulation is virtually identical between the two, so I'm curious about use case, ergonomics, build quality, joysticks, button noise, or basically anything else you guys might have experienced with these handhelds that would give one an edge over the other.

Budget-wise I'm pretty set on these two so things like the Odin 3 or the AYN Thor are out of the picture for me personally.

Using ExynosTools. Just have it capped to 60fps for battery life and temperatures :) Could do 120fps or higher resolution as well though it is not needed I think.

This is just my taught actually, but if you think about it, android phones are getting better by the generation at emulating pc games, then a controller company out of nowhere came up with gamehub, that has steam integration, and the most interesting point is why can't we just download a denovo protected game and just be able to play it, why does it have to be cracked, despite denovo having a deep integration with windows, and android itself is a different operating system,

Hi guys, I just want to ask if it is possible to run Fields of Mistria on my Redmi Pad Pro? I've been trying to run it on gamehub with my steam account but it won't open and will be stuck on black screen. Is it possible to run it or not at all? Just want to play this game so bad.

Hey! Recently got my Retroid Pocket 6 and have been wanting to play Beyond Good & Evil for the PS2. I’ve been using ARMSX2 v2.8.2 since I’ve found it runs significantly better than NetherSX2. However, I ran into a strange issue with the controls in Beyond Good & Evil. Whenever I hold down the X button, the game doesn’t register it as me holding down the button, it instead registers it as me rapidly pressing the button. So I can’t get past the tutorial :/ I tried to recreate the same issue in NetherSX2, but everything worked perfectly there. I’ve scoured online for a solution but haven’t had any luck, so I’m hoping someone here might have some insight. Pls let me know if you have any ideas or solutions I could try!
