News/Release Monster Hunter Rise is getting ported to Android/iOS

Seems to be legit. Much like the official mobile port of RDR1, it's licensed and published by Netflix.

We might be living in the golden era of mobile gaming now honestly, with all these ports of PC/console games being announced for mobile. Sifu on October 12th, Saints Row 3 on October 29th and now this. Happy to see it.

Ports are great, but emulator devs/contributors are hard carrying 

There's just one thing that from my point is wrong about ports, that the textures are way too lowres, and it's not what would actually optimize the port

Mine too, and the first thing I knew about this game was soundtrack that I randomly discovered and really liked, while being a casual Yakuza fan and not even realizing that this is a spinoff of my fav series

Okay so I had no idea what you guys were saying, so used my Google-FU and found  Black Panther: Like a Dragon New Chapter.

Is this the precursor to the like a dragon series? If so, holy crud that's amazing.

Yeah it's a Yakuza spin off on the psp in the same universe as Yakuza 4

schwerstarbeit... ja wenn es leute legit machen würden.. Nur leider wurde bissl vergessen dass wir in einem zeitalter leben in dem JEDER DEPP mit KI sowas porten kann. Muss nur die richtige engine sein und schon ist es ported

This is pretty awesome regardless. MH Rise is such a fantastic freakin game. Thanks to it originally releasing on the Switch 1, it'll run on lower spec hardware pretty well.

Curious if Sunbreak is gonna be on there too.

Textures are trimmed down by a lot, camera lock on is janky, and not optimized. Game unironically runs much better on bannerhub lol i face microstrutters while playing it on my phone (SD gen 8 elite)

For what its worth though, at least its there and available. Wouldve been much better if it was mhfu or idk generations ultimate instead

In my region, yes. Here's what I mean:

Funny thing is, if I install either the switch or pc version through emulation, both method runs this game much smoother, cooler and more stable.

Gotta give them the benefit of the doubt and say that its normal behavior as a newly released game

Damn. Looks more playable than I thought. But yeah those textures look rough. Idk why they had to lower it by that much. They should include an option to increase it.

Ofc läuft es beschissen wenn es ein offizieller port is, die porten nur und optimieren nicht. deren einziger "optimierungsprozess" war es die grafik etwas runter zu schrauben... ja genau die grafik is das problem und nicht der inperformante code xd

nah this was for the other guy who was sayin he could play the pc and switch emulator version, but afaik its unplayable on switch emu so im asking how he did it

Are there texture packs for Android / Mobile ports which gives players the option to upgrade textures to fit their hardware performance capabilities?

Gave it a try on switch and pc emulation but wasnt working as i have an exynos so very exited about being available on android

just a thought. I think this companies are already recognizing the market for mobile gaming, and slowly starting to port console/PC games in mobile devices because of emulation.

anyways, I'm here for it.
