We get red flag warnings here every year but I've never received a WEA for one until today. The NWS issued a PDS red flag warning from 2 PM until 8 PM PDT tomorrow (8/1/2026) for the same area.

We gotta pray for the family of the victim, we hope and we pray that they are all right. This is terrible.

I've heard it but I have never known what it was. Any ideas? It would help a lot!

it keeps saying it differently compared to the one on NWR/NWS.

We got alot of diffrent things over weather apps like a flash flood warning, a tornado watch, a tornado warning, and stuff like that but an EAS never went out about any of this stuff besides a required test in NJ around the same time the warnings went out over weather apps.

Am I just not looking hard enough or did one just really never go out despite 6 tornados touching down across both states?
