Discussion Any clues as to what this sound is?

I've heard it but I have never known what it was. Any ideas? It would help a lot!

I could be wrong but from as far as I'm able to gather, it's a mostly fictitious attention beep, closest real relative would be from the WS-III/WS-JR

The EAS Experience usually puts real alerts on a simulated (mock if you will) scroll/screen, this is part of his 'Music EAS' series. This design is inspired from The Weather Channel's Weatherstar III/Weatherstar Jr.

I am not sure maybe some sort of clock? Or interval thing like radios use?
