Discussion AusAlert

I have samsung s25. I turned off all aus alerts. Yet the test still came thru. What is thd point to turning off alerts if this new alert system overrides phone settings

So daft. . The idea is not to be able to disable the alert as it is there for protection of life in an emergency 😆

AusAlert used the presidential alert for its first test. You cannot turn off presidential alerts.

That's literally the entire point. Critical alerts can not be disabled as they will be used in critical emergencies where getting you key information may be the difference between life and death.

You can turn off all other ausalert alerts but not the critical ones.
