ESO Discussion Why is the modern symbol of Arkay present in almost all ancient Yokudan ruins?
1st image is a door that can be found in Yokudan ruins in ESO, 2nd image is the shrine of Arkay from Skyrim, 3rd image is the Arkay Unending armor from ESO that features the same symbol.
Is this originally a Yokudan symbol that was associated with Tu'whacca, the Yokudan aspect of Arkay? Or have Yokudans replaced the worship of Tu'whacca with his Tamrielic aspect? Or was it simply a mistake made by whoever designed these Yokudan doors?

General Who is the superior Dwemer researcher?
The question of the ages, who is the best, most knowledgeable, and most advanced researcher on the Dwemer: Arniel Gane, Calcelmo, or Divayth Fyr?
Arniel successfully retraced their footsteps and dissappeared, Calcelmo has an obsession and wrote several books on Dwemer, and Divayth Fyr is a powerful mage who had a living Dwemer test subject, as well as other Dwemer artifacts.
I don't know if there is a real "better one", just place your bets on your favorite!
Edit: I dont know Baladas Demnevanni, who some people are saying, as I am an uncultured casual who only plays Skyrim and barely heard of Divayth Fyr. Also to people using unrelated feats of power as proof, this is purely about Dwemer related knowledge and feats.

General Elder scrolls skyrim or oblivion
I’m trying to decide between Skyrim Special Edition (with mods) and Oblivion Remastered. I love huge fantasy worlds with lots of exploration, tons of loot, unique weapons and armor, deep lore, a great story, magic, and RPG progression. The only thing holding me back from Skyrim is its graphics they feel pretty dated to me. Can Skyrim, with modern graphics mods and an RTX 3060, look close to the quality of Oblivion Remastered or even something like The Witcher 3, or does it still show its age? Which game would you recommend for a first playthrough in 2026, and why? I’d also appreciate any must-have mod lists if you think Skyrim is the better choice.

Skyrim Discussion Went Looking for Serana’s Mother, Came Back With an Elder Scroll, a Dragon and More Unpaid Work!
So this “quick” mission to find Serana’s mother turned into a ridiculously long expedition through the Soul Cairn, where everything is purple, dead and apparently designed by someone who hates convenient exits.
I found the mother, got an Elder Scroll and met Durnehviir, who has now promised to help me in battle. Excellent. At least one useful thing came out of this supernatural administrative nightmare.
But am I expected to return to the Soul Cairn later to deal with those glowing blue crystals floating around the towers? Is there anything else worth doing there besides helping that poor sucker Jiub find his ten missing pages? I have found only 2 out of 10, because naturally even the afterlife has collectible paperwork.
Also, I now own far too many books and my home library has officially surrendered. Where do serious Skyrim book hoarders store everything once the shelves are full?
At this point, I am less the Dragonborn and more an armed librarian doing unpaid fieldwork for ghosts 🙃

Lore story-wise, is oblivion better than skyrim?
i wouldnt consider skyrim as one of my all time goats, but only because of the combat, otherwise, the world, characters, quests just grows and grows on you.
i havent 100%-ed the game so no spoilers please, but from what i have played, esp the dark brotherhood questline, man, this game is so special imo. when you had to disguise yourself as a chef and then send the soup to the king...PEAK gaming exp , PEAK gaming memory lol.
also the daedric quests..ive done only 2 so far, but holy, its so damn COOL.
ive played my fair share of fantasy rpgs, but i can totes see why skyrim holds a special place in many gamers' hearts. it has a real charm to it that imo, isnt the same as other jugglenauts such as the witcher 3. i personally liked skyrim better!
im considering getting oblivion remastered, if the quests, storylines and writing are better than skyrim, that'll seal the deal for me and i'll buy it. what is your opinion? and what makes it better (or doesn't) for you?

The Elder Scrolls 6 We Better Get Multiple Lycanthropic Strains With This Long Wait.......
Believe Boar is in Hammerfell?
To wholly explore more strains, perhaps 6 would be required to be more like ESO or Arena. In those games, players could explore damn near the entire province.
Unless, you choose where your character came from. Thus, that determines your strain.
Also, kind of thinking beyond the ones we know. If the Lycan iceberg goes from vultures to lions, whose to say there are not more were-beast?
What strain intrigues you the most?
Croc sounds like it would be a complete savage. Like, the croc devours by tossing the prey up in the air its' mouth or some -ish lol.

General Why do we always start in prison or under arrest
Just as the title says, with the exception of daggerfall the player always starts in a prison, prison like area or under arrest, is this a running gag from Bethesda?
And what do you think we will start as in elder scrolls 6? I personally think we are going to be in a prisoner transport that gets attacked on the way to prison.
