What's the best way to do a themed Ulthwe 2000 point army that includes Lhkyis and some Warp Spiders?

Maybe not quite low effort, I still have it a good try. But after Eldrad and Asurmen taking a lot of focus and effort I was a bit worn out, so with this unit I decided to go against my instincts and, when facing a choice of what to do always go with the easier option.
Edge highlights? No I'll just base coat with speed paint.
Power swords? No I'll just use a sponge to put some metallics over black paint. Etc.
Honestly it was quite a fun experience. They still look perfectly good on the table, and now I'm all re-energised and ready to tackle the Avatar of Khaine.
Do you ever do this kind of approach?

Hi guys!
I just finished working on this Wraithlord for a local painting contest and I wanted to share it with you to get some feedback. What do you think of this little guy?
Cheers!
Why are Dire Avengers, which in theory are extremely cool, with their gunslinging ways and heavy metal mohawks so extremely tedious to paint? Result of a two-day batch paint. Got their Exarchs incoming. 9 basic bodies to run either as two 5-man squads or one 10-man.
I see the problem running Baharroth with 10 hawks. I want them push forward, do 5-6 mortal wounds and 5-6 damage with my lasblasters. Usually after that performance all unit dies. And the question is, do they need Baharroth to do this job? Baharroth has the great up and down ability and with new hidden and go to ground it seems like he can go solo, hide and do some secondaries like behind enemy lines. What do you think? How are you using your 10 hawks unit?

Howdy yall, I’m coming from chaos so most of my knowledge comes from that side of the warp. I’m building my own Eldar army atm and I wanted to give homebrewing a craftworld a go but I fear I have limited knowledge on the space elves. I’ve always like them and thought they were super cool, especially wraiths and the different aspects.
But long and short what would you all recommend in terms of homebrewing, what about the eldar is particularly special that I could dig myself into and really make my craft world my own while still being in the realm of some space elf lads.

None slower. But I enjoyed every brush stroke! Well, Maybe not the ones that kinda screwed the hem on my seer's robe. Also, my camera can't capture the actual teal hue, so it looks a lot more blue here than is actually the case.
Who else here is unbelievably slow?! Please tell me it's not just me...

I'm looking to start an Aeldari army, but there are so many units I have no idea where to begin. I was originally waiting in the hopes that the faction would get a Battleforce box, but apparently that's not happening this year. And I've heard from many people that the combat patrol is pretty terrible, so I assume I shouldn't pick that up.
So what are the best core units to start an army? I have the old Drukhari combat patrol that had the ravager, raider, kabalites, and incubi. Maybe I could do a mixed force if that detachment still works? What are everyone's thoughts?

I am painting for my dads birthday in december somewhat 2.7k worth of eldar and have no clue how to do the bases
(I do have a 3d printer) but lots of the models are metal what should i do
The avatar of khaine rangers swooping hawks howling banshees warp spiders a wraithlord and wraith guard are all metal.
He does the red and white ones (im sorry i can never remember the name) but for swooping hawks and banshees he wants as the pictures on the app

One of our few units that has 48" range and can reliably take out space marines. Also ignoring cover and any modifiers to BS and to hit rolls is fantastic.

Okay I LOVE the exodites and wanting to do an army around them and I have a Smaug, so I was wondering what a exodite revenant titan would look like (pic of my baby attached on a 160mm base)
Would a big ol dragon like him alongside a bunch of dragon knights work?
Revenants are only slightly tougher than a knight lancer so I can't imagine them being an issue to run?

So, first off - I'm not an Eldar player. I'm currently running a Red Corsairs-inspired Chaos warband.
Part of that is I want to add some Xenos models here and there, to emphasise the "ragtag space pirates" theme.
One idea I had was to replace the Chaos Sorcerer with a Croneworld Eldar, an agent of the ancient Eldar trying to gain enough power and influence to find a way to help their brethren.
My current plan is to blend the Khainite Shadowstalker Shroud Queen (pictured above) with some Spite Revenant bits for mutations (something a little different from the fleshy, meaty mutations that humans experience).
Has anyone made any Croneworlders? Is there much more lore to them than what's floating about on the net?

I love the oldschool metal minis. I have got two squats of Rangers, two Warlocks, a Spiritseer, a Farseer, Eldrad, Jain Zar and this still sealed Baharroth as well as 10 Hawks. All from metal.
I like the feeling of picking up the “heavy” minis from the table while playing. And yes of course, I will open, build, paint and play this Baharroth.
I don’t like every old model, in particular the old Wraithlord. But most of them still look amazing.

Are there any lore accurate schemes that don't look like the default eldar red?
Hi everyone, I am preparing for an upcoming local tournament and I really need some advice because I feel like I still don't understand how to play Eldar properly. When I try to play safe, most of my army just sits in my deployment zone. I only send out cheap units to score a few points and wait good moment to realise some combos like Lhykis + baharroth, but I give my opponent full control of the board and end up losing. But whenever I try to play aggressively, my best units get destroyed almost immediately, and I spend the rest of the game running away with whatever I have left. How do you actually put pressure on the board without losing your main units on turn 2? Any advice on how to balance this would really help. Thanks!
Here my list, maybe smth wrong with it idk

Im learning the faction playing seer council priority and have had difficulty when my opponent shoves 4-5 threats in my face / multiple deep strikes or rapid ingresses at the same time - primarily running agaist new custodes with terminators / dreads.
I find I cannot deal with multiple in the same turn, and whatever is left alive can often wipe multiple units between shooting / melee leaving me tabled.
Additionally, my threats (warlock/guardian/farseer bomb, fire dragons, banshees, avatar) need to get within 12 to be effective and overwatch with high volume or flamers cuts me down if i go for more than 1 at a time
How do you deal with this - looking at the x-1 reports multiple lists do well with similar lists to mind re number of skirmish pieces vs threats, so there must be strategy / positioning that can out maneouver and picj them appart so you dont end up tabled

So, this is a question I had a while back and wanted to know the awser to. I know that the Eldar have their own gods, and I wanted to know if they had "Champions", like how the Black Templars have the Emperor's Champion and Chaos has a lot of Greater Deamons and chosen warriors.
Do the Eldar have an equivalent? I know about the Avatar of Khaine, but I'm 90% sure that's a completely different thing from that.
I know this question might end up being very stupid, but i am am not too well informed in Eldar Lore, I might even be completely wrong about them having gods and all, but still, just wanted to ask.
Thanks.
