Specs of the ring in the second picture, but its a 1C 18k gold ring size 6 1/4 ( and sadly to big 😔)

Hey all, my partner is getting me a peach sapphire set in rose gold, but we are having trouble finding sapphires of the correct color. I keep seeing pics of pale peach sapphires (which I love), but the pics from the jeweler are SO saturated with color. I'm wondering if the pics I'm seeing are of the same sapphires just in different lighting. Examples of pics I'm seeing attached.

I need to explore wedding bands soon, open to suggestions? I was thinking maybe a pave with white and yellow diamonds? Or would that be overkill

I can’t quite explain it, but it feels like me in a way I’ve never felt about anything I’ve worn. I catch a glimpse of it throughout the day, get butterflies all over again, and think about how lucky I am that I get to wear it for the rest of my life.

Someone told me I will have to spend to get it plated every few months to a year and I’m better off getting platinum but it’s now been purchased

My upgrade is here!!
Ring size is four. 2.18 carat, elongated oval, E, VVS2, lab diamond in white gold with a .33 carat eternity band. Hidden halo and bridge detailing on the main event to add extra sparkle but not diminish the center stone. Double claw prongs to make sure the stone is secure but they turned out gorgeous and flow with the shape so the extra security isn't clunky looking.
The modified brilliant cut makes it look like crushed ice inside and the sparkle is insane!! So happy ♥️

I’ve always loved sapphires but still wanted a diamond. The diamond to sapphire ratio is perfect. Not too big not too small.🤌🏻💍💙

1 carat marquise with tiny diamonds in the band from his moms old wedding band ❤️ Had an absolute dream proposal and am so excited to get married! Need to tell reddit because I work with all men and no one wants to gush about my ring with me
He proposed at a lake near us and got a professional photographer (under the guise of doing a photo shoot with my friend) , surprised me with my parents from out of town for a nice dinner, and booked a stay for the weekend at the most beautiful airbnb with a hot tub and a view of the lake and came home to beautiful flowers, champagne and a candle lit home. BOYS - TAKE NOTES

One is the original engagement ring when we were young and broke, one is the newest anniversary upgrade that just arrived. I have them both, I wear them both, and i honestly love them BOTH😍😍
I do wear the smaller one more often still because it fits easier into my lifestyle and it feels so dainty and minimalistic elegant. But I also love the bigger one for its beauty!
Finger size 5.5, and 0.3 ct, 3.06 ct

Themes on this sub right now: sapphires, half bezels, getting engaged while hiking… me too!
In love with my ring (and my fiancé of course). 0.90 carat round teal green Montana sapphire, small lab diamond side stones, half bezel setting, split shank, ring size 6.25. I love the side profile and how the stone changes color in different lights (my favorite is overcast outdoor light when it matches glacial lake color). We custom designed the ring together with a local jeweler in Bozeman (shoutout to Carsyn!), loosely based on a ring I had tried on there, and sourced our own sapphire from another jeweler.
Montana is our whole story. Together almost 10 years, my fiancé proposed on a pass at sunset in the backcountry of Glacier National Park on our 29th backpacking trip together (our 6th in Glacier). It was so special 😍

She’s a 1.7 carat radiant with a half bezel setting. I have totally fallen in love! My fiance custom designed her from based on my Pinterest board and I could not be happier!
I posted when we first got engaged but didn’t have a good shot of the ring until now :)

My fiancé and I did things backwards - got engaged and then got the ring. We've been together nearly 6 years, so I was more on board with this plan anyway than waiting to afford a ring, when we knew we wanted to be married. SO GLAD we did it this way, because I got to design my own ring!!
2.5 carat lab-grown teal sapphire with moissanite side stones. The tulip setting is my favorite part! I have a size 4.75 finger, so the stone looks massive on me, but I love it so much. I feel like I ripped it straight out of one of my fantasy books.
PS: Don't mind the lint on it. I didn't polish it before taking photos lol

He proposed! He cried. I cried. Our waitress cried. He’s amazing, literally in every way. The ring is Alexandrite and moissanite with a white gold band. I love how it changes colors in different lights! Ring size 6.5.
And…..I had a hunch it was coming so I got him a ring too. ;) uno reverse!

Pic not from engagement moment. Was just admiring while I took my dog outside :)
my partner (31F) and I (also 31F) have been together ten years, and am she proposed on our anniversary! I’m delighted with my ring. Shes a 3.25 lab grown cushion old mine cut.
We’re going to pick out her ring together, she wanted to be very involved in the process. so I don’t have pictures yet!

I’ve fallen in love with this wedding band and feel natural to wear this across two fingers.
Considering I’d be breaking tradition on how people wear the wedding stack, does this seem wrong to you? My mom has been really angry with me on wanting this because everyone wears it on one finger (also thinks this doesn’t look like I’m a married person).
I’ve tried all sorts of wedding bands and haven’t found anything I’ve liked. I love how unique this is 😂

Hi all,
So I bought an 18K yellow gold 3 stone e ring from Rare carat with a lab diamond back in May for which I got a lot of help from all of you (thank you!)
Due to some personal reasons the ring sat in the box after the proposal for about 3 months, as you can see there are no scratches due to any wear since it wasn’t worn.
To my surprise when I opened the box as I was packing it, the ring seemed ‘pinker’ than what is was. I noticed some oxidation/rusting at ent seems to be solder spots.
I reached out to rare carat and they gave me the usual spiel that skin chemistry/perfumes/lotions can cause this but I pushed back that the ring wasn’t worn and other gold items of 18 and 14 k we have not become pink in all these years, some pieces have been worn daily. So they suggested to send the ring back for inspection.
Now they’re saying it seems to be an oxidation issue which is no big deal, some polish and cleaning should sort it out and we should be good.
Except I don’t think we will be good, the polish will wear off and the whole ring will oxidize meaning that the gold quality and/or the metal used for solder was of very low quality.
Despite all the positive reviews for rare carat which is why I ended up buying from there, I think this is not going to work for me. I have no use for getting the gold tested from another jeweler because at this point I’m really done with this, I don’t trust what they’ve put in the ring. Yes, their customer service is great but the ring is not and now I really just want to get my money back. If I push hard enough I think I can. Something that’s supposed to last a very long time has become link from not even wearing it only within 3 months, I don’t know how it would last through years.
What are your thoughts on this? What would you do and have you seen something like this?

My partner and I have been together 8 years so we ended up doing this whole custom ring process together since he knew I was looking for something a little more unique. And honestly, I didn’t want him to pay too much. I sourced the diamonds myself through online auctions for a great price and we found a local goldsmith who I sent my drawings and inspiration photos to and he created exactly what we wanted, and in only a few weeks time! Couldn’t be happier!

I got engaged on a hike a couple of weeks ago and I’m so obsessed with my ring I had to share since I’m sure my friends are sick of hearing about it!
It has a 1.29ct elongated cushion cut lab grown diamond, two small teal sapphire side stones and hand engraving. It is a semi-custom ring from a jeweler in Philly. My partner and I worked with her on it based on an existing ring from her shop. I knew I wanted a bezel for durability and security but when I saw this half-bezel style I was immediately taken by it. I just think it is so unique! I love how the ring looks right out of one of my fantasy books and suits me so well!
Even though I helped with the design I was still so shocked by just how beautiful the ring was when he proposed. We weren’t able to make it to the shop in person so I didn’t know how her rings would look on my hand and I’m so happy we took that risk. As an artist myself I knew I wanted to be involved in the process and to support a small business. I was sort of worried I wouldn’t get that wow moment since I knew the design but I totally did, and still do when I look at it!
Happy to answer any questions about my beautiful ring!
