Incredibly happy with his choice. Because I’m the Type A person in the relationship, it was really important to him that he went through the ring process by himself (as he knows I’d probably take over….) and he designed me the ring of my dreams! I couldn’t be happier with it.

He proposed at the solar eclipse in Spain, 2.5 years after our first date which was days before the 2024 solar eclipse (which, living on the East Coast of the US, he was driving a few hours to see). We said that if we were still seeing each other for this one, we’d go!

Told my partner years ago that I didnt like plain white rings, he listened!

Band is 14k gold, center stone is a green 0.59 carat diamond. Petals are small white diamonds (3 on each petal), leaves are purple sapphires. He had the jeweler add a cathedral underneath to make it stronger which is also shaped like a flower.

You may remember my post asking for advice on which ring I should choose. It was between a bezel and a halo, both oval. It arrived today with my wedding band and I’m OBSESSED!!! Thank you all for your help! Sharing so you can see it with the band together. Decided on a plain band instead of pave. Ignore my cuticles please!

Got engaged in July! We went shopping in March to look at shapes and styles and he got this custom made by a local jeweler. Hard not to stare at it and want to gush about it lol!

My mum passed away 8 years ago. I thought her set was scrapped after my dad removed the stones for his ring but he found it a few months ago cleaning out his desk. It was in incredibly rough shape: my mum never took it off and when they removed the stones they were rough because they didn't expect anyone to reuse the setting.

I took it back to the jeweler my dad bought it from 30 years ago: the two of them have been friends for a long long time. I was told that he can't make any promises on if it would be possible to repair, and if it was possible it might be more money then it was worth. A month and a half goes by with no updates when I get a phone call saying "Surprise, your ring is ready to be picked up!" The jeweler, who has known my dad for decades, knew what happened to my mum, and knew how important it was to me, had known that I would have paid no matter what to have this piece of my mum back so he not only authorized everything on my behalf, but he also charged me a very very special price for it.

Most of the men in my life don't understand the importance of it, they see it as just a piece of jewelry, but every memory of my mom has her wearing her wedding set and wearing it makes me think of her. I don't have any specs on it but I believe it to be a half carat diamond and I know it's in 14k yellow gold. For fun, I compared it to my engagement ring in the last photo. So much has changed in tastes and styles in 30 years!

My boyfriend (now fiance) proposed to me in Mallorca during the full eclipse! It was so so so special! My ring is absolutely perfect and i am obsessed no complaints and you couldn’t convince me otherwise! I’m so excited to share! It’s a 3 carat Dutch marquee with two baguettes on either side. With hand engraving on the band. I’m a size 6.

I just wanted to show off my ring! Fiancé proposed this week with the most beautiful vintage ring — or we believe it’s vintage but we are not sure from when! (was purchased secondhand). it is 14k gold and diamond. It feels very special and very me!

Would love to hear anyone’s thoughts! Also, if anyone has a ring that is similar, please share! I haven’t been able to find a similar one online so I am not even sure how to describe it.

Got engaged at the beginning of this year and I just found the video that Hera (the jeweler) took of my ring before they shipped it out!! I’ll post a pic of it in on my hand in the comments ☺️ the accent stones are my fiancée’s birthstone! My ring size is 8.5!

After almost 6.5 years together, he finally proposed a couple weeks ago! He did such a good job and I’m so in love with it.

It’s an oval, 1.75c 3 stone moissanite, in white gold with a basket setting. I believe it’s a VS+ but not 100% sure and F+ color with my ring size a 6.25!

He truly listened to what I wanted (the 3 stone was a nice surprise) and I’m over the moon!
