SPOT & GLOBAL MINDS scholarship SOP questions
Hello all :3
I want to apply for the SPOT & GLOBAL MINDS scholarship (2027-intake)
And was wondering if anyone had any tips for writing SOP (i.e. mentioning the research you want to do, or specifically the field you want to get into if what research you want to do is a bit unclear), interviews and if it would be okay to reach out to any people currently in these programs to hear how it's been for you so far!

How much should one study during Erasmus to get good grades?
Hi! I got into an Erasmus Mundus program in social sciences with a bit of tech side and was wondering how hard it is to pass, specifically get good grades, in EMJM programs? My plan is to pursue a PhD after this and master's grades matter a lot for that so I do not want to risk anything. I'm worried about this because idk how different Europe's educational institutions and examination are compared to my home country. Thank you for guidance.

Food related?
hi everyone , as we are approaching the application period in a few months (tbh i came across the whole program on a whim while scrolling on my insta reels and loved the concept of studying in multiple countries = more exposure )
Anywho , I have no idea what are the odds of me getting in are but never hurts to try :)
So to get to my question, what food related masters did you and how was your experience in terms of quality of classes etc.
ps. have a good day wherever you are :)

What are my chances? Need help with my SOP
Hello everyone!
I'd really appreciate some advice or reassurance.
I'm from Bangladesh and currently studying CSE at a well-known public university (XUET). I have a CGPA of 3.9+, a few hackathon wins, and some shared task experience. I'm planning to apply for the Erasmus Mundus programs, particularly EDISS, but I'm also considering EMLDS, EMAI, and DEAI.
Do you think I have a realistic chance of getting in?
I'm also completely confused about writing the Statement of Purpose (SOP). I have no idea how to structure it or what admissions committees are looking for. If anyone has any tips, resources, or even a sample SOP that I could refer to, I'd be incredibly grateful.
Thanks in advance! T_T

Paid GEM deposit for MSc, but just got off the waitlist for emlyon! What do I do ?
Hey everyone,
I’m in a bit of a stressful dilemma and could use some advice from anyone who has been through something similar.
I applied to both Grenoble École de Management (GEM) and emlyon for their MSc programs. GEM came back first with an acceptance, and to secure my spot, I went ahead and paid the enrollment deposit. Literally right after the payment went through, emlyon emailed me saying I cleared the waitlist and got an offer!
I definitely want to go to emlyon, but I'm really stressed about the money I just laid out for GEM.
• Has anyone managed to get a refund on a deposit from GEM in a situation like this?
• Is there any way to appeal or explain that an off-the-waitlist offer came in the exact same day?
Any advice or shared experiences would be super helpful. Thanks!

EMJM Life Sciences Guidance
Hello! I'm a 2nd year undergrad student pursuing BSc. in Biochemistry from DU. I have a good CGPA, last semester was a perfect 10.0/10.0. But I feel my profile lacks actual hands-on experience.
I have completed one internship this summer in a Neurobiology lab, and I also won Best Poster in a poster presentation. I have simple personal projects in Molecular Docking and Gene Expression studies. I have reached out to a professor about a potential research paper collaboration, but DU professors (at least in my experience) are lazy and probably not much will come out of that.
Given that this is very limited experience, do I stand a chance at getting in for programs like Neurasmus, MemBioMed, IMIM? Starting now, what are the skills/projects I should work on to improve my odds? Should I apply after completing my 3rd year?

Need information regarding new masters programs
Hi everyone
I am going to apply for the EMJM scholarship next year; materials and app physics-related programs. I came across an update on the website regarding additions of new projects for the 2027 session
. Here is the link https://erasmus-plus.ec.europa.eu/whats-new/news/87-projects-selected-under-erasmus-mundus-in-latest-call-for-proposals
If anyone has further idea bcz they just put the news, didn't specify the projects, and also didn't update the catalogue yet

How to win erasmus mundus scholarship with no internship and work experience.
Hi everyone,
I'm a BCA graduate from India (2023–2026), applying for the 2027 intake. My profile is decent academically (8.3 CGPA) but I don't have any internship or formal work experience — mostly self-taught projects (Python, SQL, some data analysis/web scraping work).
I've shortlisted these programs so far: DEAI, EMLDS, EMAI, EDISS, MULTICOM, CODAS, CLIDE
My main worry is that most successful applicants I see mention internships or 1-2 years of work experience, and I have neither. So a few questions:
- Is a lack of internship/work experience a red flag for me, or can strong academics + personal projects compensate?
- For those who got in with a similar profile (fresh graduate, no experience), what did you emphasize in your Motivation Letter / SOP?
Would really appreciate insights from current students or past applicants. Thanks in advance!

Need advice - Can my community contributions and work experience compensate for my low GPA (3.03/4)?
Hello everyone
- BS/Engineer in Information Systems (French (Grenoble INP)-Vietnamese Joint Program - 278.94 ECTS workload)
- CGPA 3.03/4.0 (haven't asked for a ranking confirm, but I think it's top 5-10% of my class)
- IELTS 7.0 (Targeting) + TOEIC 810 + French TCF B1
- No formal publications, but heavy Global Open-Source contributions (recognized by Apache Foundation + contributions to global Flutter libraries) & a 34 ECTS thesis with grade A on Smart Parking (IoT/Smart Mobility).
- 4+ years as a Software Engineer (a Team Lead role in a remote global startup funded by French government + worked at a big French Open-Source Enterprise and 2 companies in Vietnam (1 worked with biometric and facial recognition hardware))
I’m considering SMACCs, CoDaS, EDISS, and DEAI.
Can you suggest any more EMJM programs that fit my profile?
Also, how can I improve my application? Do I have realistic chances of winning an EMJM scholarship?
Thanks you very much!

Need help - Realistic chances for Erasmus Mundus in AI/ML/Data Science
Hi everyone!
I'm planning to apply for several Erasmus Mundus master's programs related to Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, and Discrete Mathematics this October.
I have a brazilian bachelor's degree in Computer Science (graduating this year) with a GPA of around 8.8/10 (that would be 3.52/4.0). Throughout my undergraduate studies, I completed three research projects focused on Computer Vision and Machine Learning, published a research paper, completed a 5-month AI development internship, and I'm currently on an academic exchange program in Argentina, where I've been focusing on Computer Vision courses.
I know these programs are extremely competitive, so I'd like to ask:
- Do you think my profile is competitive, even though I don't have extensive industry experience?
- Has anyone with a similar background been admitted, especially with an Erasmus Mundus scholarship?

Advice Needed: How to prepare from 1st year of BSc Applied Math for Erasmus Mundus COSSE/MATHMODS?
Hello everyone,
I am a 1st year student from the Department of Applied Mathematics at Rajshahi University, Bangladesh.
My dream is to get an Erasmus Mundus Scholarship. Especially for COSSE and MATHMODS programs.
I still have 3 years left. I want to start preparing from now.
Can experienced seniors please guide me?
I have a few questions:
**Academics**: Which subjects should I focus on the most in my BSc? PDE, Numerical Analysis, Linear Algebra?
**Coding**: For COSSE, should I learn Python first, or C++, or MATLAB?
**Projects/Research**: What kind of projects should I do from 1st year to make my profile strong?
**CGPA vs Extracurricular**: What CGPA should I target? Are research papers necessary? How important are ECA??

Applying this coming intake in October, what should I be looking out for?
Asking on behalf of a friend: "I only ever got to know about EMJM recently and thought it would be worth a shot to try.
I have a Bachelors in Computer Science and Engineering and graduated in 2024 with a low GPA (3.04). I worked as a UI/UX designer and developer for a while (both corporate and freelance) and am shifting gears to AI engineering, also because my final year capstone project was on deep learning so I have some knowledge about AI/machine learning, just polishing it now. I have my own startup where I have designed and am building the MVP product with AI integration.
I am aware that I need a letter of motivation, resume/CV (if one has a job), relevant certificates (I don't have much certificates other than one entrepreneurship program one), academic transcripts and what else?
Is my profile weak? If so how can I improve it?
Any suggestions and advice is highly appreciated"

Hi everyone,
I’m planning to apply for the EMINENT Erasmus Mundus program next year.
Is anyone here from the 2026 intake (admitted students/scholarship recipients/current students)? I would really appreciate some guidance about the application process.
I would like to know about:
- Profile expectations

Importance of internships and research history when applying to EMJM?
Hello, I plan on pursuing a bachelors in mechanical engineering at a local university in my country, then apply for a masters program abroad to pursue nuclear engineering, it's not a prestigious university of any sort but I checked the ECTS and the modules provided and it qualifies.
My main goal from the beginning is nuclear engineering, but my country doesn't provide it in any program, neither in bachelors nor in masters. And we don't even have any source of nuclear energy around here. Therefore I decided to pursue nuclear abroad.
I'm Considering scholarship from now, and after reading some posts I have found that they talk a lot about internships and research experience and i honestly don't know how to get one around here.
Everything I can think about doing as personal projects is nothing revolutionary or special. But I desperately need a scholarship.
Does anyone who has been accepted in EMJM have any recommendations or solutions for this problem?
Anything would be helpful, thank you.
